Is the Adventure Pass over?

Is the Adventure Pass really gone? If you look at the criteria for requiring one many trailheads on Paradise Road and in the Figueroa Mountain area still have the required amenities to be able to charge..but will it be enforced? Currently it ihas been enforced on Paradise Road (like Upper Oso and Red Rock), but not in the Figueroa Mountain area..."the agency will continue to legally charge a fee for visitors who use recreation sites with six standard amenities: designated developed parking, picnic tables, permanent toilets, security, interpretive signs, and trash receptacles." http://www.edhat.com/site/tidbit.cfm?nid=171819&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

You can still find wildflowers if you're willing to hike!

Grass Mountain is gone and Figueroa has faded, but Little Pine Mountain is still putting on a show. Take the Santa Cruz Trail from the Upper Oso trailhead off of Diana Paradise Road. It's a stout 5 mile uphill climb to get to the poppy fields...but there are plenty of flowers on the way!
