📊 September 2024 Real Estate Market Report Released 🏡

The REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) has just published the September 2024 market report, highlighting key trends across Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Both areas saw a noticeable slowdown in the housing market, with declines in sales for single-family homes and condos, and median sale prices dipping across various property types. Properties are also spending more time on the market before going under contract. 🌧️ Hurricane Debby’s flooding may have contributed to this slowdown, adding uncertainty to buyer activity.

In light of Hurricane Helene, Governor Ron DeSantis has extended the real estate license renewal deadline to October 31, 2024. This extension offers professionals in the real estate industry vital additional time to prepare for and complete their license renewal requirements amid the challenging circumstances posed by the hurricane.
