Prior to Co-Founding the Words & Music Company in 1997, I was the Vice President of Marketing for Dyna-Lite, a professional photographic lighting manufacturer in New Jersey. We went from being a small high-end, local boutique company in the US, to an expanded footprint in Europe, Canada, Asia and Mexico. It was quite an exciting time be in this industry, and my list of Hall of Fame friends became quite lengthy. One of the first was the legendary rock and roll photographer and photojournalist, Jim Marshall... and man, I was incredibly honored. Here at the Words & Music Company, we LOVE mission driven projects... like this one we conceived, filmed, directed and post-produced for the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County. "The Giving Challenge" is annual fund-raising effort that is condensed to a 24 hour period. Filmed on-location all over Sarasota County, post-produced at our Sarasota post-production office, and delivered... in 5 days! Client was thrilled, and all we can say is... mission accomplished! Here at Words & Music Company, we LOVE what we do! This passion for producing videos that tell a story and offer a solution, comes from the top. But you'll find that same level of passion and commitment from every single one of our team members - on every single project! Here's a cool memory from shooting the pilot episode for a TV show that Words & Music conceived, developed, produced and shopped a few years ago. Back then... "Did you know that in the US alone, there are 74 million kids under the age of 17? And there are only 8,000 child psychiatrists!" Today, we feel there is even more need for additional resources in mental health counseling for our kids. Ladies and Gentlemen... introducing the Dr. Dom Show!

My wife/partner Denise Lang-Grant and I established The Words & Music Company in Somerset County, NJ in 1997. And in 2021, we opened a southern production location in Sarasota, FL to better serve our clients across the country. We are pleased to announce that we have recently completed filming projects in Houston TX, Long Beach CA, Atlanta GA, Salt Lake City UT, and Sarasota FL in addition to Wayne NJ. Next up... Washington DC, Miami FL, and more!

As the saying goes... "you never work a day in your life if you're doing something you truly love"... truer words were never said. Ten years ago on this day, I was honored to be inducted into the 2012 New Jersey Advertising Club Hall of Fame, along with three other legends of our industry.
