I've always loved to create home decor, rearrange spaces in the house even as a little girl. 3yrs ago I adored the macrame wall hangings I saw at homegoods but didn't know what it was called and I remember thinking...I could make that! Lol

I got on and did my research, went on and bought some cord! So much trial and error and saying to myself.."how did I do that? " 😆 Tryna remember different knots haha. I made my best friend a macrame feather wall hanging for a house warming gift as my first official piece. I was super proud of myself and after a couple years I ended up having to fix it up for her cause...well that was my first piece and I had a few things I needed to learn 😅☺️

I didn't expect to love this art as I do now. Honestly it's been my escape from my overthinking, I get so lost in the piece I don't think about anything else. I pick a piece of driftwood, something that speaks to me at the moment, figure out the color cord that'll vibe best with it, figure out my start design point and then from there it's whatever flows. I love that each piece is different, I love that whoever buys it knows there won't be another like it 🥰🫶🏼

This is more than the money, it just makes me happy AF to have someone actually want something I made! It rly is the coolest s**t ever haha and then to see pictures of it in their home and loving it, it makes my heart and soul so happy! I literally do a happy goofy dance every time 😂 and when you comment, like and share my s**t...I do the same hahah. The little stuff makes me so happy!
