Sweat, Tears, & Laughter (Literally).
Almost 50 years in the old tiger gym, and it’s time to say “good-bye”. It was a privilege to have spent almost the last 50 years of my life at 2934 Bee Rd. I watched my parents grow a business and work together side by side. After my father’s death in 1999, I purchased the business. I bought the building in 2002. I almost lost everything in that building and I learned to rebuild my life in that building. God taught me many life lessons in that building, for which I am grateful. I loved hearing the old Georgia Furniture customers come in and reminisce about the days of playing basketball there in the 1940’s & 50’s or roller skating on the concrete floor in the 60’s. I appreciate all the employees who worked with me through my many learning curves. The last 2 years it became a home where vendors and artists were given the confidence to show and sell their wares. For years, I worked long days and many late nights. I left work late only to come outside and find a policeman parked in the parking lot to make me feel safe. After closing on game nights, I would get taps at my window from Savannah Bananas fans asking if they could park in my lot and I would always smile and nod. I loved listening to the anthem, the announcer has he gave a shout out to kids celebrating, the roaring of the crowd, and even the fireworks that could make the front doorbell ring. It was a tough decision and hard to let go. But after listening to my message received this morning from Jesse Cole, with The Savannah Bananas, I knew it was God’s plan. It’s a perfect fit and I wish Jesse and the Savannah Banana’s team much success in their new office space as they grow, learn, and continue to do good for our community.
We will be here until 6 - today is the last day to shop and we are full! Vendors are in their booths making deals.

Tomorrow is our last day open so you have 2 options: come in today and shop til you drop with the best selection available, or come in tomorrow and get a great deal on what's left! Many vendors will be in their own booths tomorrow taking direct payments and cash will be king! Some vendors will be taking alternative forms of payment (Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp), some will have card readers and as always, you can check out at the register! If you plan on buying furniture, some vendors will be offering delivery (fees may apply) but everything must go! See you there!

It is with a heavy heart that we confirm that our building had been sold and our final day for shopping is September 17th. We have enjoyed almost three years of serving our community, and want to say a sincere "thank you" to our customers and friends. We hope that you will continue to support our wonderful vendors right up until the last day as they will continue stocking and offering unique products at great prices up until the very end.
