Welcome to Black Pearl Cove!

Working with my rather untraditional client 😜, she had big plans for this place to become a destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Settled on a beautiful piece of property with incredible live oaks, marsh and water views from all three sides, and even a boardwalk to a private camping hammock, guest can totally immerse themselves in nature.

To bring the outside in, we covered every inch of the walls, ceilings and trim in southern pine and went super dark on all of our paint to emulate ship-like character as a tribute to the Captain Black Beard folklore that has been preserved. For durability as a rental and choosing black for cabinetry, we even used StarBoard, traditionally used for marine application as it is virtually indestructible. The place is just full of whimsy and quirks and we look forward to hearing stories of its guests!

Our Enclave project came to a close last week and I have to take a moment to express my gratitude for being able to continue to do what I love alongside such wonderful clients and my team.

This couple wanted their second home to feel light, casual and a bit costal for their family and grandchildren to visit. Well, it is exactly that.

As soon as you walk in you can’t help but take in a breath of fresh air and slow down. The natural light is incredible and the way the breeze blows through the house is just spot on with how we anticipated this home to feel. The simplicity and minimalism in design allow you to immerse yourself with the people around you rather than the “stuff”. I can’t help but visualize how many memories will fill this home this summer and through the years with children and grandchildren.

Thankful for these clients, their constant positive energy, patience and trust. And a huge thank you my team and all the people I rely on to bring life to client dreams! It wouldn’t be possible without you 🫶🏻

This primary bath + his and her closet is what neutral girl dreams are made of…🙋🏼‍♀️. It is going to be the most romantic blend of warmth, curves and drama. Next up…. Unlacquered plumbing, light fixtures, more marble, wall to wall glass enclosure, wall paneling, custom armoire integrated into an existing closet. Can’t wait for this one!

This kitchen boasts high ceilings with floor-to-ceiling cabinets, showcasing natural materials like exposed brick and wood flooring. The large island incorporates wood elements for warmth, while the neutral color scheme brightens the space, creating an inviting and rustic yet modern ambiance.

Coming back from fall HPMKT inspired and tired! It was a three generation trip I certainly won’t forget. Thankful for my grandmother for playing nanny, my mom for being my helper and my little girl keeping us all entertained! Lots of goodies I can’t wait to see installed!

My first luxury yacht project and one to certainly remember. Such a pleasure working with this lovely couple for over a year. Just heard they were enjoying it in North Carolina with friends, as they should! Grateful for the people I’ve met and opportunities I’ve had through this journey. Ready for more!

We love to incorporate various textures, visual interest, heirlooms, and antiques to create a new twist on traditional. Above all, we enjoy spending time getting to know our clients and how they live day to day so their newly designed space can reflect what’s most important in their lives. Incorporating all these details gives us the perfect foundation for designing a space to be enjoyed and cherished for years to come. We can’t wait to design yours next!

While we will be celebrating our 5th official anniversary this year and are just getting our feet wet with social media, we are so grateful for our colleagues, vendors and most of all, our clients turned friends over the years.
