A customer, who knowingly purchased VRC candles—products that directly support rescuing dogs in need—has filed a complaint and requested a refund.

I'm left utterly baffled and heartbroken. Who buys charity candles only to turn around and demand a refund? I understand it seems like it’s taking an unruly amount of time but I have been very open and transparent with our timeline and what is going on. Our sweet pup has been through a lot lately, and we wanted to share some news with our friends and family. Litha's recent X-rays revealed some concerning findings - white opacity and a pulmonary nodule, which the vet believes are due to mold exposure. Sadly, he's also been diagnosed with Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease. We're doing everything we can to ensure he gets the best care and treatment. Update

We are still trying to escape our hell at the moldy property. Yesterday animals went to vet and are both having respiratory issues due to toxic mold exposure. Then this morning while having to stay in a hotel here in Delray Beach which is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE due to spring break Diamond decided to be a little escape artist when the meds came around and get stuck under the hotel’s tv stand. All 3 of us were trying to coerce her out and I cut my hand open on an exposed screw. Well to no avail we had to get maintenance to pick up the whole unit and in doing so he smashed her paw under the whole unit so here we are back at poor Dr. Posner’s office waiting. In the meantime our stuff is still in our garage waiting for us to pack it in the truck. We are beyond grateful for those who have helped. HORRIBLE NEWS WE HAVE LOST EVERYTHING WE OWN

FAMILY IS IN DIRE NEED INCLUDING MY PETS DIAMOND AND LITHA

My family got the 💯 positive dreaded news one that basically makes all of your nightmares a reality. Per our environmental assessment conducted by Environmental Research (Gustavo and Dr. Maurice Baum.) we have levels of Chaetomium and Aspergillus the were too high to even count. What that means is that spores from the failed remediation of mold that were in the walls and HVAC have now contaminated everything we own and also us. Chaetomium in large amounts is carcinogenic and can lead to cancer and many other health problems down the road. Lord even knows how long this has been here. I just happened to fortunately catch wind of it through water seeping up. Not only has this affected my family but my pets as well. We now all have to be tested for levels of mycotoxins in our blood due to the poisonous dust blowing around. This includes Litha and Diamond. Anyhow, we unfortunately have been told nothing in the home can be saved and that we must vacate with only our clothes and even that is risky for cross contamination in a new clean environment. So it’s like our house burned down and nothing survived. This is DEVASTATING. As we are suing the property management this will take time so for the meantime we need all the help we can get. I have made a list of items we need at our new residence anything is greatly appreciated (I know things are expensive even a gift card to Amazon would be awesome) my family thanks you! 🖤
