With the largest HHCAHPS benchmark in the nation, SHP is in a unique position to identify and recognize organizations that have made patient satisfaction a priority and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the HHCAHPS survey.

SHPBest award recipients are determined by ranking the overall score for all SHP HHCAHPS clients. The provider with the best Overall Score in the SHP database receives the Best-of-the-Best Award. Providers that rank in the top 5% receive the Premier Performer award. Providers that rank in the top 20% receive the Superior Performer award. In addition, all award recipients must have scored better than or equal to the SHP national average for the period for each of the 5 publicly reported domains.

Senior Expo held in Savannah - WBBJ TV JACKSON, Tenn. – A Senior Expo was held for local citizens Monday morning.

Enjoyed the Hardin County Senior Expo today. It was so good to see all the seniors who came out today. Deaconess Home Care always loves to participate in helping educate the seniors on the home health services we offer.

Deaconess Home Care would like to announce two new team members for the Savannah/Selmer offices. Pictured left is Angie Blount, LPN Scheduler/OA (Angie has been in the nursing field for 25 years) and on the right Kathy Stephens, RN, Executive Director(Kathy has been in the nursing field for 30 years). We would like to welcome these two ladies to our team, Deaconess Home Care is very thankful to have you both on our team!!!

Words cannot express the gratitude we have for this lady, Serena Thomas, Executive Director at Deaconess Home Care, Savannah and Selmer. Today was Serena’s last day as our Director, it was a very sad day for us but we are excited for her as she takes a new position in a new direction. Serena, we thank you for dedicating 19 years to our company with your leadership skills, compassion, and kindness that you have shown each of us as well as all our patients throughout the years. You will be missed more than you’ll ever know by all of us. We all have learned so much from you over the years as our Director. God Bless You and We Love You, Serena Thomas!!!
