OK, so maybe that song wouldn't make a great anthem for our country. But on this , we celebrate our freedom and our ability to in the ways we can.

In the past year, we've framed these three flags for groups and individuals at . These flags honor the men and women who have served in their respective roles, in their respective battalions or divisions, in their respective theaters.

It is OUR honor to be able to provide these types of memories to those that defend our nation. Let us help you do the same.

Missing some of their hometown roots, this couple, now living at , had the perfect place to hang a classic photo of the .

Mimicking the clean lines and chrome of both the kitchen and the diner itself, a simple silver frame and slightly off-white and dark gray matboard blends nearly seamlessly into the decor. The color temperature and placement of the lighting give a beautiful streetlamp effect to complete the presentation.

These three recent installs we did for her and her team show a tremendous range of colors, textures, shapes, sizes, subjects - and take them to new levels by creating harmonies and movement, balancing all the components and making a path and story.

Don't let anybody tell you isn't an art. These folks, along with so many others locally, with prove them wrong every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

This is also a great advertisement for why you should consider or on your work, especially with darker pieces. Yes, they cost more money - but you can literally see the difference.

This photo of Savannah at night was also a new frame, by the way. Just not a pretty enough final photo for Tuesday's post.

Boy, it's like y'all saw that post we featured about AMCI's new products, and said "We can beat that".

We showed you that , and promptly sold a whole bunch of frames from those collections. Check out this variety!

We've got a piece from the framed in a big bold frame, a large canvas from a local artist framed in a thin , a beautiful small canvas from another local artist in an intricate frame, and a original in a perfectly coordinating frame.

And finally, this super cool wedding invitation with stamping plates in a frame.

Seeing all the different options, on all the different art, makes us so happy. And especially Adam, since he picked all the samples to go up on the wall. Way to justify his choices, everybody!

means trips (or just relaxing on the water drinking while watching someone else fish), which means this is the perfect time to show off a shadowbox we recently did of a fishing cast net and accessories that belonged to a client's father/grandfather.

The net had ballast on it, which made it quite heavy. Working with clever stitching and using special object mounts, we were able to get the net and ballast mounted securely. We had another challenge which was to figure out a way to mount the spool of thread onto the rabbet of the frame. It took a few heads (adding up to maybe 1.5 brains), but with a combo of glue, fishing wire, and a -ed , it was secured as well.

We aren't fishing for compliments but we think it turned out great!

A little while back, we told you that Adam was going to be on a Film Friendly Vendor panel for and .SoCo. That panel had to be rescheduled for circumstances beyond control (now on August 22nd), but we were still selected to be Feature Vendors for the Quarterly newsletter!

As a division of , their mission is to bring productions of all sizes to the Savannah area and support the local industries, and they take their jobs seriously. Walker, Katie, Renee, and Allie, between their stops at and , came to the store to get a "grand tour", talked with all the employees, and took some great pictures.

season is in full swing here in Savannah! Ceremonies in the squares or on the water, photo shoots in , bachelor and bachelorette shenanigans , , or . So many cherished memories and so many different ways to celebrate and remember (or not...) that special day.

Time for another local artist spotlight!

moved to about 18 months ago. Originally from , he grew up thinking he'd be a . Taking an art class in college changed that plan (though he still makes music too).

His first style was called (which is kinda what it sounds like), but he's since moved on to , where he creates the art by writing words repeatedly to form the whole picture.

On these three recently framed pieces, "Love Languages" features the word " " written in 100+ languages; "Language Arts" features words and phrases from a live session about what art means, and herself loves this piece featuring her name and song lyrics.

Jayce has done work for, or had his art featured on, , , , , , , and even had a featured segment on during a and pregame show!

Despite his success, Jayce is still one of the nicest people around. A chance encounter between Adam and Jayce's partner at and the 's Small Business Week, where Adam took a risk attending a "Women in Construction" panel hosted by , led to this great partnership.

This is not just a day off of work or throwing a , it is also a time for many of us to remember friends and family members who gave their lives in service to our nation.

If you're looking for a unique way to memorialize a loved one, consider a shadowbox displaying items from their military careers; from awards to uniforms to patches and more. Here are just a few examples of pieces we've done in the last several months.

Many of you may have a strong history and lineage of family members serving at one of the two large bases in the area, Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart, or beyond. Let us help you create a testament to your personal heroes that will look as good to your grandchildren as they do now to you.

A couple months ago, we some new samples from and already we've got a number of beautiful pieces to show off in varying shades of gold.

First, this lovely forest scene painted by . The molding's black, gold, and hints of purple coloration pair nicely with the darks and gold in the painting, and the grain of the wood makes the whole piece feel unified.

Next up is a bright print of boats in a harbor, framed with a white with gold flecks molding that is simple yet elegant. The blue mat creates space between the frame and artwork, accenting the colors within the piece without feeling heavy or distracting.

And finally, our friend knocked it out of the park yet again with this painting. For a new construction in , as a focal point in the library, she went with an out of the box option, using this gold flecked reverse which coordinated wonderfully with the fixtures in the room, and used a little help from a purple moulding to draw out the soft colors and coordinate with the fabrics in the room. Look how amazing it is on the wall! (hung by Adam)

Several years ago, we were selected to help with the art and installation at the new hotel in beautiful , as well as a number of the surrounding cabins. We weren't so good about taking pictures then, but a recent project in the development afforded us the opportunity to grab a couple quick shots of a few public areas.

Take a look at some of the amazing paintings provided by and , some of the pieces we framed, and all of which we hung.

We are capable of supporting projects of all sizes, working with both local and remote , , and . From one bedroom cottages to entire hotels, we're jumping on the beds to make sure you're able to rest easy at night.

Local artist spotlight: from . While Lydia currently calls Savannah home, her beautiful and paintings are shown in galleries all over the country, and she has created custom artwork for restaurants, books, and even !

Typically bright and colorful like her personality, Lydia draws much of her inspiration from her background in and . These particular pieces were framed for an art show in Virginia opening this weekend, and show off the local flora and fauna.

While we also framed several prints, these originals used and frames, and use a topmount technique to show off the papers' . Mounting the artwork to a piece of conservation grade matboard (one linen, 2 paper) from above, this technique highlights the nature of the torn edges of the watercolor paper, making the piece seem to float just slightly above the mat. A glass spacer keeps the artwork from touching the glass and allows the paper to flex naturally without being flattened.

This is a beautiful way to display an entire sheet, whether it's a painting, an old document, a weathered photo, and more.

Tomorrow is May 4th, or Star Wars Day for those of us who like all things sci-fi and flying in space.

Unfortunately, we can't afford the rights to show actual Star Wars imagery. Instead, let us show off this pair of lithographs that we framed.

This art was inspired by the old "Uncle Sam" posters of the 1940's, and the movement has been represented by luminaries like George Clinton () & Parliament Funkadelic (), Jean-Michel Basquiat ( / ), and , just to name a few. Our client chose this distressed wood moulding from , perfectly complementing the background and the bold red text.

Have y'all seen this?! One of our good customers (and friends), local professor Jime Wimmer (), has written and illustrated a book - and you can help fund it!

Dear Darwin is a book about a gentleman mouse on an adventure for the perfect cup of tea. Check out the campaign in the comments, and you could even get yourself a package of custom Dear Darwin tea from as a perk. Jime illustrated the book using a combination of and . Having framed a large number of her pieces, we can vouch for the stellar quality of her work and can't wait to see the finished product!

We framed beautiful photographs of the Savannah area landscape, taken by local photographer () (yes it got confusing!) and designed by for their new corporate offices. All the artwork was installed by Adam, including pieces from 's personal collection. Watch the video and see the photos for just a small idea.

Romance isn't typically something you associate with (it can be a cutthroat game!), but we framed this custom board that was given as a graduation gift from a husband to his wife.

They love to play Scrabble together, and all the words on this board represent aspects of her school and major. It seemed fitting to share this story since this past weekend was .

We love to frame like this board, figuring out which framing solution best fits. For this project, we packed the hollow back with acid-free foamboard to create more surface area for the adhesive and lined the sides of the frame with the same color to make it feel cohesive.

Mirror, mirror on the wall...

If we had a dollar for every mirror we've hung we'd have like...a couple hundred dollars. Not much in the grand scheme of things. BUT we'd have a lot more if you included the ones that we've made - at least a few hundred!

That means we have lots of experience working with designers to create beautiful custom mirrors such as these we did for (Hansen Architects) designers and .

Not a designer? You can still get your custom mirrors from us!

We are also professionals when it comes to installing the mirrors; making sure they are secure, in the proper position, and never accidentally get caught in the photos.

PS, Adam is clearly not the fairest one of all.
