The Shrimp Cocktail
A classic dish that first gained popularity in the 1920s, particularly in coastal regions of the United States where shrimp was abundant. During this time, cocktail parties were in full swing, and a shrimp cocktail could be found at all of them!
However simple the dish may be, it has always been a crowd pleaser, but more than that, it's a dish that people can gather around and have the opportunity to connect with one another.
