Please join us for WRT’s annual observance of Tisha B’Av on Monday, August 12th, at 7:30 PM. The 9th of Av commemorates the destruction of the ancient Temple in Jerusalem and is considered to be the most important day on the Jewish calendar for commemorating tragedies that have befallen our people.
In light of the devastation of October 7th, we will pray, sing, chant verses of Lamentations, and study. Join Rabbi Blake, Cantor Sonett-Assor, and our newest member of the clergy team, Rabbi Alissa Platcow, for this moving and meaningful service.

The families of the hostages have launched a Week of Goodness. The families state “We are living in a fractured period, and our beloved hostages are in unimaginable darkness. Helps us repair and bring more light into the world.” The website gives actions each day from July 14 – July 19 that you can do in order to participate, or you commit to your own acts of goodness and share it on the website.
