A little before and after on a double process correction…. All done within two hours with ZERO breakage.

A little copper with some blended face framing highlights might be one of my new favorite combos. Reds always have the best shine. ❤️

And I am officially moved out of phenix and into seasons salon. Thank you to all of my loyal customers through the years. I am so blessed and thankful for all of you. New beginnings 🤍🤍🤍🤍

New and exciting news…. Starting Tuesday I will be relocating back to a salon.

As a stylist I really thrive in an environment with others and there’s something so nostalgic about working in a salon. While having my own studio has been a great blessing it is time for me to make a change.

Fun fact, when I was a kid I used to go to my aunt’s salon on a regular basis. I always loved the environment and the people. I looked forward to going there on a Saturday especially, because let’s face it being a people person is what leads to success in this industry.

So starting Tuesday my new location will be at Seasons Salon and Spa, 115 E Schaumburg rd in Schaumburg.

I am so excited to start a new adventure and to bring all of you along.

Why I did not take a before picture is beyond me. This girlie had waist length hair when she came in that had not been colored or cut in almost a year. So a little fresh foilayge and 800 feet cut off and this is the end result. 🥰🥰

I have been so bad at posting lately, but that’s what happens when you’re so busy doing the hair that you forget to take pictures of the hair, and even worse at posting the hair…. But here is the hair.

Look at this beautiful girl with this beautiful color correction I had the pleasure of doing today. I’m so happy with the results and I think she is too.

I never post my curly haired girlies for some reason and considering I’m naturally one of them I should really start showing the different ways to style and cut curls.

Ladies and gentleman may I present to you a four hour color correction. trust the process and do multiple if needed all while maintaining the integrity of the hair.

Today was a sad day for me and so many others.

Being a stylist to so many means that you form relationships with your customers over time. For the first time in 21 years I have lost a long time client and I must tell you it really stings. Mickey was a client of mine for close to 18 years and every three weeks we spent an hour or two together, talking, gossiping, venting, and so much more. I value every one of my clients so much and i felt the need to post this to remind everyone how appreciative I am of them. I will miss those every three week appointments and all the advice she has given me over the years. Prayers and thoughts to the Mullins family.
