Poppy was introduced to clicker training yesterday! We needed a more clear marker for her when shes doing the right thing! The timing was spot on and helped her greatly in our lesson! We worked on calm greetings, loose leash walking, dog reactivity, distractions, and ENGAGEMENT! So proud of these two💕🐾

I had the pleasure watching the girls for 2 days! Roxy is so happy and is coming along so nicely in her fur-ever home! She is absolutely living her best life getting lots of treats from training and so much loving from her owner! Savannah has come far along in the process of Roxy training too! She is gaining a ton of confidence and is starting to get acclimated to new people! Her owner leaving was a great time to build up her confidence to new people!

Introducing Poppy to the training family! Poppy had a rough start to her life but has found her forever home! We are working on a loose leash walk, separation anxiety, crate training, some slight dog reactivity, and most importantly basic obedience and engagement with her owner! She is also learning how to live side by side with a younger child!

Howdy folks.. Cooper has been training with his owner in the weeks between lessons! He’s doing so well! He’s learning how to settle when his owner and company are sitting at the table! He’s a little quick to move towards people as he loves his attention however we’re starting to change that behavior! We’re also really cutting out his demand behaviors like barking / throwing his toys at his owner when he wants to play! Cooper had a solid leave it and was able to work through wanting his ball until it was given to him!!

It’s been a bit since we seen Tucker! He was absolutely tuckered out after his awesome lesson and from a full belly of treats! We worked on his recall by using a long line and establishing his recall command! We had his owner, her daughter, and I in a triangle working on using the “come” command and rewarding when he got to us! His family can easily transfer this game inside without a leash on rainy days as well to burn some energy! It also acts as a game of hide and seek to tucker the kids out too! We also worked on doing nothing when there is a lot going on around him! We sat out front and rewarded his calming behavior / engagement with us! This included when people were walking by and when the construction trucks / machines were at work! We were able to also incorporate some greetings! Tucker is mellowing out these days!

I’m so incredibly proud of cooper! He’s always on top of his game when it’s time for a lesson! We focused a lot of his energy on “leave it”. This boy loves his toys but we needed him to be more engaged with his owners rather than stuff on the ground or in peoples hands! We incorporated distractions throughout his lesson to really proof the command!

Nobody should be walking their dog in the heat of the afternoon over the next three days.

Walk them in the morning or evening instead. It will be safer for your dog's paws.

The sweetest girls! Savannah and Roxy are always putting their best paw forward! Working together on basic obedience and distractions while being around each other! We also included some walking manners! The girls nailed their lesson 🤩

We worked on distractions during some off leash walking, recall, and implied stays! As well as more greetings with familiar faces and breaking some bad habits! This way there’s more of a controlled greeting to guests! We also got a nice nail trim in 💅 He excels

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Otto! Time has flown by and Otto has another pup in the house name Frankie! So happy his owner reached out for a little pup sitting date 💕

Absolutely living for the pup-dates! Tucker has been working hard at calming down inside while his family watches tv! He has also been learning how to do nothing during his lessons as well! Such a valuable thing to teach your pups! He is also learning a release word for all his basic commands so there will always be an implied stay! He is still working through his reactivity and leash walking🐾

Tucker is constantly working hard to improve on his reactivity to the tv and seeing people / other dogs on the porch! He is also working on his reactivity while sitting outside! We also worked on some leash manners and on him chasing the cats around the house! He’s been doing great work during our lessons! 🐾

Mr. Cooper is always rocking the hot pink look😎 He has come so far is his training and keeps making progress during our lessons and with his owners!

Meatball is starting his month off from trading after his last lesson! His owners will be taking some time to travel! This little guy is a ball of energy! We’re establishing a strong recall and basic puppy obedience as well as some confidence building to take on the stairs!

Cooper is doing amazing with his training and making improvements everyday! Our last lesson involved focusing on door manners, impulse control, and leash walking!

Two coopers in one weekend🤩 our pal Tucker and Savannah and Roxy!! This weekend we were up against the weather but almost everybody got to enjoy the outside! Tucker worked on some manners inside with the door, reacting to the TV, and just being able to hang out, along with a little work on recall, and some leash manners! Roxy was working on counter surfing, basic obedience, and some door manners! Savannah’s confidence has improved so much! Both Cooper’s worked outside on some engagement and reactivity along with leash manners! These boys and girls are constantly improving!

Last weekend’s amazing pups hard at work! Their continued progress is such a pleasure to be apart of!! We are working on a ton of goodies including reactivity, leash manners, basic obedience, door manners, and so much more🤩

📣WELCOMING SHAQ & KOBE 📣 These little guys will be working on basic obedience. These guys are super energetic and already super well behaved! They have an awesome recall / relationship with their owner already! We are just fine tuning and putting some distance between the dogs and owner, incorporate more distractions, and holding a longer duration when commands are given!

Savannah and Roxy are always a pleasure! Last weekend we work on confidence building for Savannah and she really came out of her shell and was so into the training with Roxy! Roxy worked on some leash manners through the kitchen, we worked on counter surfing, and establishing her basic obedience further!
* We even got a pup date from Roxy’s owner on Easter 🐣 She was cutting some veggies at the counter and instead of Roxy’s normal jumping behavior on the counter she downed and watched at a nice distance! And for Savannah shes been getting out of her corner and actually interacting with guest on her own terms! Wooohooo 🥳
