What goes into making ONE candle?

-I soak my wood wicks in oil and dry them out for 24 hrs so they burn evenly
-I sanitize my jars and attach the wick
-I melt a special blend of coconut, soy and beeswax
-I add natural and essential oils when it reaches 183°
-I handpour each candle
-Once it sets, I manually re-heat each candle with a heat gun to get rid of air bubbles or tunneling and create an even surface
-I trim the wick
-I mix and add herbs, melting them into the wax to reduce the "fire hazard" that comes with adding dried herbs and flowers
-I select crystals for each sign, melt the surface and carefully and intentionally place the crystals
-I do a final re-heat and wipe down the inner and outer surfaces with rubbing alcohol
-I design, print and apply labels
-I place the top on and let them "cure" for at least 3 days, preferably a week for the best burn

When you get handmade items, you are getting someone's time and energy. They aren't made in bulk by machines or full of synthetic fillers and toxins. They are someone's craft 💓
