Shine Band

1983 (or 4, can't remember!) first big Shine gig. The Hatch Shell on the Esplanade in Boston. Original jazz fusion and a couple classics. Upper 90s humid August heat, what a memory..

Still Shinin' through our holiday season -though our corporate gig got cancelled tonight with the snow! These pix from one we did last month that featured a "wall of bacon" prior to the dancing. Never know quite what you'll see... Next week's is at The Prudential center Shywalk in boston -which will unfortunately close in a few months. Take care!

It was such a great mix of songs that kept our guests dancing all night long!! To have five band members that are fun, lively and talented really makes the event. They have great vocals (female (a nice tribute to Aretha!), country, rock, reggae) and a great sax player. Everyone thought they were fantastic!"

The Shine Band was a pleasure to work with, and they kept everyone on the dance floor all night! Our venue offered us an hour of piano music during our cocktail hour, and Shine agreed to incorporate the piano into their playing (which was so flexible on their part, and really sounded incredible)! John is a true professional who will guide you through the planning process. He told us when he was going to be on vacation while we were planning, and answered every email and call within a few hours. We can't thank them enough!
