📅 Friday, May 3�🏛️ Union County Courthouse
Our amazing 7th graders were honored at the Courthouse for winning the annual Union County Law Day Competition! 🏆📝🎨 They created fantastic projects about voting and elections - essay, poem/rap, or poster. 🗳️✨ Judges from Union County Vicinage selected the winners. Such a proud moment for our students! 🙌

Busy Evening on the SPFHS campus - Girls Youth Lacrosse
In addition to a great District Art Festival, down the parking lot is the Perry Tyson Field. SPF Girls Lacrosse 7th Grade team (Terrill and Nettingham students) hosted Millburn. The girls won against Millburn and will play Westifield tonight at 7pm. Please come out and support your youth sports programs.

Bookchatter Visits the NYPL
Students from the 8th Grade Terrill Book club had an exciting opportunity to explore the New York Public Library. Gorman, a NYPL docent, guided us through the impressive collection of this second-largest public library in the United States after the Library of Congress, and the fourth-largest globally. Scholars from all corners of the world visit the New York Public Library for research purposes. During our visit, students had the privilege to see remarkable treasures such as:

Shark Tank Junior Edition Finale
🦈 Thank you, judges and 8th-grade students! 🌟 One of the most exciting events in 8th grade is the Shark Tank Junior Edition. Special thanks to Mr. Yap for hosting it in the media center, giving a different venue for aspiring entrepreneurs. Our panel of 'sharks' includes their Terrill teachers, school principals, and other staff members. All sharks provided valuable feedback on students’ product proposals and their decisions on investing. 🚀 We hope that the SPF Class of 2028 got to learn innovation, understand profit margins, production costs, and marketing. 🌟
Terrill Jazz Band Rocks The Pru!
🎷🎶✨ This week, our Jazz Band hit the stage at The Pru during the New Jersey Devils game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. 🏒🎺🎉 An amazing performance followed by cheers for the Devils as they secured a 6-3 victory. 🎼🔴

We appreciate all the teachers and students who took part in our Teacher-Student Swap Day event. It was amazing to see teachers dressing like students and students dressing up as our teachers. A big shoutout to the TMS Student Council for making this event possible!
