Here are some things our customer portal allows you to do!
-You can view and print bills
-Set up autopay on your credit card
-View your bill when we see your bill, which is about 2 weeks earlier than you receive it in the mail.
-View USAGE! We have a graph that allows you to see the high and low temperatures, and how much electricity you have used for that day. This is a great way to keep up with your monthly usage.
Clean your AC filter. Dirty filters restrict airflow and can cause the system to run longer, increasing energy use. If possible, replace filters monthly for maximum efficiency.

This snake was the cause of the power outage yesterday that affected around 1100 people in the southeastern part of Scottsboro.
On-call SEPB personnel were able to reconfigure the system and restore the power within 12 minutes of notification from our Scada system of the outage. Not all outages can be restored this quickly, but this is one example of SEPB’s commitment to providing reliable power service, shorter outages when acceptable and keeping the safety of our lineman as the top priority.
During Wednesday nights storms, we suffered damage to a main fiber line on West Willow Street. The damaged line has left some customers without fiber service. In order to fix this issue, we will have to replace parts of the main fiber line.

We will be working as fast as we can to restore all services as soon as possible.
