Congratulations to Desert Mountain Teaching Professional DK Kim! He and his partner took first place in the TravisMathew Pro-Pro Tournament at Gainey Ranch Country Club in Scottsdale just a couple of weeks after DK finished third in the Southwest PGA Spring Masters Championship held at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa. Well done, DK!

Women's Golf Day was established as a national day to engage, empower and support girls and women through golf, helping lead growth in the industry. Recently, Women's Golf Day expanded to a week-long celebration. At Desert Mountain, our ladies celebrated on the course before a post-round glass of rosé. Thank you for your part in growing the game of golf! 🏌️‍♀️

IN THE NEWS: Just as Desert Mountain Club was wrapping up the #1 largest Member/Guest golf tournament in the country (if not the world), the Desert Mountain community was also noted as #1 in the real estate market in the greater Phoenix area. Phoenix Business Journal broke down what put Desert Mountain in the top spot, overtaking neighborhoods including Paradise Valley.

🌎 Earth Day 2024 🌎 This morning, a group of Members worked side-by-side with our Horticulture and Outdoor Adventures teams for an Earth Day Trail Clean Up here at the Club. The focus: removing stinknet, an invasive plant. Together, they removed enough of the plant to fill a trailer + 7 additional garbage bags! 🌱 Thank you to our dedicated Members for joining us on this Earth Day mission!

No. 7, our championship par-3 short course, is host to the Club’s own Par-3 Challenge today. The course was created to celebrate and highlight the social aspects of the game, and present an entertaining challenge for players of all ages and skill levels.

Congratulations to Members Suzi Spotleson and Barry Conser, our 2024 Men's and Ladies' Senior Club Champions. 🏆 FUN FACT: This is the 5th Senior Club Championship in a row for Mr. Conser! 🥇Congratulations to all of our flight winners in these two Club events.

Led by the light of Monday's full moon 🌕, Members gathered around the fire pit at the Kiva for a drum circle to find synchronicity with the community, the inner-self and the environment around us.

What a way to start a week! 🏔️ A group of Desert Mountain hikers took on Cave Creek Trail #4 on Monday. They trekked 12 miles in just under 8 hours along a trail with 600ft of elevation change. Way to go! 💪

🎉 25 YEARS 🎉 Desert Mountain Club's Chiricahua Golf Course was recently recognized by LINKS Magazine for its 25 anniversary in 2024. Chiricahua opened in 1999 and is the Club's fifth Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.
