Primary Objective of Position:

Ensure Guests receive an exceptional dining experience. Serve Guests in a timely and proficient manner and is attentive to their needs. Practices responsible alcohol service in accordance with Arizona Title 4 and Vito’s alcohol policy.

Essential Functions:

· Possess proficient knowledge of the menu in order to explain our offerings to the Guests, inform them of current food promotions and specials, and answer any questions

· Serves food and beverages to Guests in a timely manner

Makes service drinks for servers

· Ability to assess Guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a Manager

· Ability to effectively upsell guests using props and suggestive selling techniques to enhance the Guest experience with such things as drinks, appetizers, add-ons (salads, soup, garlic bread), desserts

· Ability to manage the Guest experience by reading the Guests and pacing service to match their needs

· Follow alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated Guests

Vito's Pizza and Italian Ristorante has expanded to North Scottsdale and are hiring Hosts/Hostess. Vito's opened in DC Ranch on February 15th and looking for some personable and smiling faces to welcome guests as they dine with us. Our hosts/hostess also handle takeout orders and make excellent tips. Applicants must have a great attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.

· Ability to manage the Guest experience by reading the Guests and pacing service to match their needs
