Keep sending me clients PUPILS...I need to get thru this little hump.
Lost some clients over the past 6 month and working to rebuild.
So keep sending them my way.
Being a "one man show" can be challenging but I know I can stay open another 15 years!

I'd like to take this time to thank my Navajo hair clients and store customers who came out and supported me last week in the salon/store.
Your support helped me get thru a rough business month.
I am still not out of the "red" but certainly in a better spot than I was.
I understand that "money" is not everything but it certainly helps to keep my "business" doors open.
I am very proud of my store. It serves a purpose where I can meet privately and retain and establish relations with my community, clients and customers alike.
I sincerely appreciate all of you who support such a unique "underdog" business as mine.
The fact such a business can retain longevity for 15 years speaks volumes.
Last week my Navajo clients were 80% of my entire business week...and to me that is utterly amazing!
Please continue to send me clients as I am working at rebuilding some clients I lost to moving, became snow birds, and or moved on.

I've created some of my own smudge sticks that will be featured at the Annual Navajo Pride Festival in Window Rock AZ on June 29th. Come on out and check out my booth. I will have a vary of smudge sticks one for every purpose.
My smudge sticks are not avail online yet until after I do the festival. In meantime come get em at my booth they will be $3 to $9 depending on length of them

Flashback Friday to the 2nd Annual Phoenix 2Spirit Pow Wow.

The photo on the left was the home I grew up in from age 1 to 7 years old. I had to return back to it at age 12 to age 13. I then became a ward of the state at age 13.5. At age 18 I left the Navajo reservation to build my life. The photo on the right is where I am today and I have no plans on slowing down anytime soon.
