It’s all in the maintenance

•BRUSHING
Get an extension brush. This is vital, you will literally rip your head of hair out if you try and brush them continuously with a normal brush, so seriously get one.

•WASHING
Try using cold water to wash your hair. This will help keep the cuticle and bonds protected and closed. You only need to wash the scalp, don’t try to scrub all the way to the ends of the hair.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•DRYING
Always fully dry your wefts, you can leave the ends to dry naturally if you want, but it is very important to keep the roots bone dry. Another tip is to put your hairdryer on the cold setting, as it is once again, you guessed it, better for the bonds.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•ITCHING
When you get a new set of extensions, especially your first set ever, it is normal for them to feel a little itchy. Often its just your head getting used to them and sometimes it could be because you need to give them a wash. Obviously if itching persists, go to your hair technician but usually, it is normal!

How often should you get a haircut?

I recommend the average haircut is every 6-8 weeks.
Maintaining a haircut can even require more frequent visits, even as soon as four weeks.

It’s also important to remember a trim and haircut, they are the SAME thing.
The more frequent you trim the hair, the less hair I will have to cut off to actually keep the hair healthy and prevent split ends.
