Magnesium is seriously a magical mineral!
Magnesium plays many crucial roles in the body, such as supporting muscle and nerve function and energy production. It also helps relieve sore muscles and can help you sleep better. It could also aid in weight loss!
I recently discovered this magnesium oil spray and apply it to my arms, legs and torso before bed!
Anyone else have experience with magnesium?! Let me know what you think!💕

Heat protectants are SO important!!!! I can’t stress this enough! Would you ever take a pan out of the oven without a mitten on? No! ❌ So don’t use a heat styling tool without first applying a barrier-a heat protectant! They are the key to preventing damage and dryness.

Use one before blow drying, and then reapply before using your styling tool.

I love using either Aveda speed of light or Matrix Heat Buffer before blow drying, followed by Amika Heat Protectant Serum before using my curling iron or flat iron. Matrix Heat Buffer gives a little hold so it’s great when roundbrushing! I like using a serum on dry hair because you don’t have to wait for it to dry, and you don’t chance burning your hair. If you do use a liquid heat protectant on dry hair make sure it dries before using your styling tool, we don’t want to hear that sizzle noise of your hair burning🔥

Traditional highlights will forever have my heart and be my favorite thing to do😍
On Aneisa I alternate between a high lift foil and a bleach foil to give her some blonde variation. One comes up a little bit darker and a little more golden while the bleach foil is more platinum. This gives her that beautiful, natural looking dimensional blonde!

Let’s talk mascne! (Mask acne)
I was struggling with breakouts from wearing a mask long hours on my cheeks and chin. I talked to my amazing dermatologist and she suggested wiping my face with one of these salicylic and glycolic toning pads mid shift. Let me tell you, they are magic! I haven’t had a breakout since! It’s so important to exfoliate and cleanse the skin, especially when we’re wearing these masks.

Also, she suggested using a silk mask. Waiting for them to come in but I’ll keep y’all updated! We know how great a silk pillowcase is so a silk mask makes sense!✨

Hands down, my all time favorite hairspray! I know a lot of you can agree with me on this one! It’s super light and brush-able. You can layer and reapply this all day long and it will never get crunchy! And it smells absolutely incredible!! I pinky promise if you try this you’ll be addicted😍

Keep your silver hair nice and bright with a purple shampoo! Purple combats yellow tones that naturally come through from the sun and heat tools like flat irons and blow dryers. ⠀

For an added boost, you can get a gloss done at your salon that has purple tones in it, along with shine and moisture to help seal the cuticle and keep it super silver💎⠀

Aveda Speed of Light Blowdry Accelerator Spray-This stuff is seriously magic! It coats each hair strand with lactic acid from sugar beets to create more air flow and wick the water off faster. Think of rain boots! It also makes the hair super soft and shiney AND is a heat protectant!⠀

Olaplex Bond Smoother-I use this one on the mids to ends of my hair. A great leave-in that strengthens your hair while also giving moisture! You can also put a little in dry to help get rid of frizz and flyaways!⠀

Aveda Phomollient-I have long, straight, fine hair. So When it comes to volume, I need all the help I can get! I love this foam because it gives weightless volume. You can put 3-4 pumps at your root and it doesn’t leave it feeling product-ey. It also gives shine and lets be real, who doesn’t love shiney hair?!⠀
