13 years ago I was assisting on stage at a hair show doing models hair. I absolutely loved the energy and excitement and my dream was to be a platform artist teaching other stylists on stage.

We all go through trials and hardships. Shortly after that time I was going through a divorce and was going to be a new lease single mom every other weekend while my girls were going into school full-time for for the first time. I was able to assist Willie Negron in Puerto Rico and Rocky McCormick with Chi and had the time of my life! Shortly after I met my second husband and then came my two little girls. Being a platform artist was unrealistic for me with that situation, but I knew I that I wanted to open a salon one day.

Little did I know that shortly after I would be 100% mom and dad unexpectedly nine years 1/2 ago.

That situation broke me, but going through it catapulted me into opening my own salon and then opened up another one in a different location, and then a 6 chair salon and 4 room spa - Charisma 5 1/2 years ago in WI.

I decided to move to FL right before Covid so my older girls had both me and their dad during their high school years. We haven’t had the best of luck here, but I never gave up.

What we are going through right now with our Mold journey has definitely knocked me down more than I’ve ever been in my life, but I’m a fighter, and I will continue to fight for my goals, no matter how hard it gets.
