Our Elkwood Apartments project in Flagstaff, AZ is moving right along!! We are finishing up framing the last floor on our first building and then we'll start rolling roof trusses. Our second building slab has been poured and framing has commenced on the first floor. The next slab up will be the Clubhouse Building. Site activity is booming! We are finishing up the storm drain and fire line and starting on dry utilities. We are being environmentally friendly by crushing rock and processing dirt for reuse on site. This is really going to be a beautiful project!

Our latest apartment project, Elkwood Apartments, is moving right along. Elkwood is Flagstaff’s next mixed-use, multi-family project, designed to bring 224 rental apartment units, retail shops and affordable housing to Flagstaff.

Late night concrete pour last night for the North Tower at The Grid project in downtown Mesa. Hardrock Concrete and Rock Solid working hard all night!
For day 5 of Women in Construction Week.... introducing the "newest" woman to Decca Builders; Alexandra Maggi, Marketing and Business Development (yes this is a self post). I have been with Decca Builders for almost 4 years and in the construction industry for 8 years.
Fun Fact: I became a mother at 19 and now my 18 year old daughter is graduating high school in May!!

Day 4 of Women in Construction Week and I am proud to introduce the jack of all trades of the office, Heather Blyth our Project Coordinator. She has been with Decca Builders for 20 years and in the construction industry since 1997. But, most importantly Heather has magical powers and fixes everything that we break.
Fun Fact: She loves dogs and just adopted one from Luella’s rescue! (She is pictured with the loves of her life)

3rd day of Women in Construction Week and we would like to introduce Chantall Kort (if you don't already know her). She is our wonderful, meticulous, always on the ball, get stuff DONE Project Manager.
Chantall has been with Decca Builders for 6 years now and hopefully many more!
Fun Fact: Chantall worked and played in New Zealand for 5.5 years while attending the University of Auckland.

Today for Women in Construction Week, we'd like to highlight the MOST important person in our office... our CFO Kristen Zeno who happens to also be an owner of Decca Builders (family owned) as well.
Kris graduated from NAU with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She has been involved in the construction industry since 1990.
Fun Fact: Kris is the only girl of the Wareing children and she keeps her brothers (other owners of Decca) in check! She is the literal glue of this office.
