Happy New Year to all! What I love most about my craft is how it taught me to visualize something that didn't yet exist... We all get to do this in our own lives as well... I hope you are seeing big and beautiful dreams for 2024!!!
Have you ever thought, I want to play on that structure but it was built for a kid? I love the unexpected playfulness that comes with this fun outdoor patio swing chair. I was on the hunt for an unconventional piece that could be used for a young family that would accommodate adults and kids alike. The challenge was to find something that would integrate seamlessly into a contemporary design for one of my clients, and VOILÀ! I found this hanging chair.

Andy Warhol circa 1972 "The Sunset" series
First I should say, that I love curating art for my clients...it's a magical and refined process I've evolved over the years and involves careful planning with the help of art galleries, auctioneers, and more.
I wanted to add drama for scale with jumbo-sized matting. It created a clever focal point to make a bold statement by uniting the emerald hues of the sunset with the use of bright green matting.
Stay tuned for more on this exquisite piece ✨
Swinging into modern vibes with this egg-cellent hanging chair! I wanted this client's guests to lounge in style and experience luxury resort vibes. Can we talk about how perfectly it blends comfort and chic aesthetics? It's a fun statement piece...and trust me, once you sit in it, you'll never want to leave.
"Don't pretend that you're not proud of your work" April Gornik
When I think about my designs, I take pride in that we create beauty for others. Too many times women don't stand up with their voices and lean into their power. I believe in living bravely, staring fear
in the face, and doing what’s uncomfortable to grow. It
means unapologetically being your truest self despite
any social construct. And, foremost, it means listening to
your own voice. The only life that is yours to live is your
own—do it boldly. Harnessing this self-power becomes
magnetic, as it empowers others to do the same for
themselves and shine their own unique brightness.

This jaw-dropping bold graphic art piece injects an unparalleled burst of personality into this luxury home. This guest bedroom was refreshed with vibrant colors, captivating lines, and breathtaking designs. 🎨✨ Liz Ramos-Prado.
If you were a kid visiting your grandparents...wouldn't this loft be a favorite spot for climbing up the ladder to a cozy gold-toned nook?
That little nook can also offer low lounge seating or a couple of twin beds...I love making spaces that make my client's families have memorable experiences.
I wanted to bring that luxury boutique resort feeling into this guest room. So this cozy corner of this guest bedroom also has a built-in refreshment bar, the vernacular reference of cacti, and an iconic planter chair to create an oasis of relaxation. 💫💕
"I have no other wish than a close fusion with nature..." Claude Monet .
This project was designed with a Böesendorfer Bösendorfer Klavierfabrik grand piano at the epicenter of this formal living room. The passion, artistry, and attention to detail that goes into handcrafting each piano, and the unique ability to customize them with the best artisans in the world, make them a special work of art.
I love the fact that it takes 1 year to complete something so special with their artisans. Every part of their process is meticulous to achieve the famously crafted Böesendorfer sound from Austrian spruce. The spruce wood goes through an arduous 5-year gentle outdoor drying process. In other words, it takes 6 years until the instrument is ready to be delivered.
When I curate a project for a client, I like to think how I can spoil them with truly special and meaningful pieces...with this project...it was a curation that included international pieces I have loved forever such as the Baxter sofa Baxter Made In Italy
and these vintage lamps by Charles of Paris Charles PARIS. Granted I'm using their funds...but I am on the hunt on their behalf to find the best treasures possible. ✨
I love the magic of accessorizing with pieces that play into the narrative of an interior design story. This vintage hand-carved wooden “vase” I meticulously curated for a project to evoke timeless elegance and a touch of personality.
At first, I thought it was a terracotta vase...but up close it was beautifully carved wood.
Accessorizing brings in a unique story and character. This piece has intricate details and warming hues that effortlessly elevated the space. 💫✨
Handsome choices...
These refined lounge chairs are both comfortable and stunning.
One of my favs...you've been seeing it in a few of my upcoming projects.
This chair was designed by Patricia Urquiola . It's a soft, enveloping shape that offers contemporary comfort with a well-developed sense of environmental awareness.
Urquiola's armchair strongly references 1970s design. What I love about it in addition to its aesthetic design is the fact that it was engineered with environmental consciousness in mind. It was built to be completely disassembled for ease of disposal and recycling of organic and premium materials, starting with the metal core.
Sometimes things are worth the wait...
This sophisticated Italian bar is fitted in the corner like a curated jewel box. Customized this shelving unit with handsome black and maple leather with satin brass and matte black finishes.
In the foreground sits this custom walnut dining table made in collaboration with Linear Fine Woodworking. It accompanies a clever dining room stool, the Cassina Ile Maurice chair designed by Patricia Urquiola, with a black modern fireplace adjacent to an exquisite round marble table. The rug relaxes the mood while anchoring this eclectic contemporary story.
Love the handsome masculine design...here, a full-service bar was fitted in the farthest corner with refined brass accented Italian shelving to allow for extra function in entertaining.

I am an avid supporter of our local art community. This work is by
artist Brent Foreman , a Phoenix-based artist.
This piece is entitled "Words Can't Tell the Story" which seems to fit Foreman's philosophy of creating a "visual language".
He says, "The techniques I acquired stay with me to this day: painting, printmaking, natural fibers, and multi-media incorporation. I use whichever technique will give me the end product that I desire. I never tie myself down to one style or one way of thinking because that doesn’t forward the progress."
His approach and philosophy definitely resonate with me.

I love bold graphic designs! Marcel Ceuppen .ceuppens had a highly successful and award-winning career in advertising. You can see how his advertising experience is conveyed in this sharp, bold, and bright style of his fine art. Which influences do you think inspired him?

I could write a novella about this room. It's one of my favorites to date. Maybe in part that for this client, I shared my secret stash of collectibles...like these vintage lamps by Charles PARIS.
Puzzle Piece 1 of 2
Accessorizing is the last piece in the interior design puzzle. It's the details that make all the difference. I bring a global perspective to curating soft furnishings.
An Organic Modern Home Rises From the Desert Natural materials and loads of light ensure it feels at one with the environment.

Homes first impressions...the entry...here I set the stage reflective of a client with refined taste and a passion for collecting meaningful pieces. I wanted the home sophisticated but also very livable...eclectic design helps as it is less stiff and it allows for unexpected collaborations of art and architecture...
Can you spot the crown?
This innovative design gives the illusion that the backrest or 'crown' is floating above the armrests which gives an open back design.
I just dig this shape. This collection pays homage to Jupiter‘s ring. This accessory offers a double functionality - use it as a vase or a fruit bowl. It makes quite the impression...from the craftsmanship of mouth-blown glass, and crater-like depressions, to the fragility, iridescent, and timelessness wrapped in a light purple hue...this is a statement piece.
And this color...love!!! I want more of this tone...
