Evergreen Stables Equestrian Center

Fifth annual Poker Run trail ride at Evergreen Stables will be Sunday October 13th starting at 2pm.

Please sign up with me, here, text, message, or in person so I know who wants to do this.

This year will be $45 per person. Evergreen Stables riders only, English and western. Former, non current students can ask to join in and I will let you know if I have space.

Start time will be 2pm. The rides will only be about 30-45 minutes but this will be split into a couple groups or more if needed. So you may not be starting at 2pm but you shouldn't be any later than 3pm start time. Plan to be here until 3-4pm.

If it's raining, I'll let everyone know we are cancelling it or moving it to a different day or during your lesson time if possible.

It's basically a trail ride around the place and collecting 5 cards and the rider with the best poker hand wins. The rider with the worst hand also gets a prize.
Don't worry about knowing how to play, just collect the cards and have fun!

Please make sure you can commit to it as I will have to assign horses and saddles.

The horses had a ton of fun with the cooler weather! Rolling, running and having a great time with each other. Be prepared to groom the horses before riding!

If you'd like to donate any money to help fill the barn with much better fans, we would love to have some help. They cost $9 each and we only need two more! One will be for Sandy and Happy and the other for Rose and Ollie.

On June 29th, a Saturday, we will host a bonfire for all current and former Evergreen Stables riders. Snacks and fire will be provided for everyone's enjoyment.
And added new!! ... Henna artist is coming as well!!! Come get your henna art, eat snacks, have a nice fire and then!!!.... Watch some fireworks put on by my neighbors!!!
Bring a chair and any alcoholic drinks you'd like.
We can gather around at 6:30pm and we will get the fire going when it gets close to dark. Welcome to stay as late as 11pm.

With the up coming heat on Tuesday and Wednesday, I am going to have a bath lesson instead of riding at 5pm. Come prepared to get wet. 🐴🚿

7pm lessons will go on as usual for riding. You can come at 5pm to help bathe or ride at 7pm. Let me know if you want to change your time.
