Applicants must excel in customer service. Honesty & responsibility are also a must. Other than that, if you are willing to learn, we have a lot to teach. We are looking for a seasonal employee but permanent positions may be offered after the season.
We have two locations within the Scranton Public Market; Household 6 Creations (food) and The Center City Wine Cellar (bar). Employees will be expected to cross-train at both locations.
We are located at the Scranton Public Market in the Marketplace at Steamtown. Right now we are open Monday-Thursday 11-4 and Friday-Sunday 11-5. The bar is open until 7pm.

A Family Affair!
I remember being in my grandmother's kitchen with my great grandmother, grandmother, mother, and sister preparing for a day of canning all those wonderful things that came from the garden. My sister and I were the tomato peelers or pepper grinders. We didn't have an electric food processor for grinding. We used an old-fashioned grinder that attached to the table with a heavy-duty clamp for everything that was grindable. I still have two of those grinders and, on occasion, use them for things I make at home. It brings back wonderful memories of family and learning the art and craft of canning.
Over 40 years later, with the help and encouragement of family and friends, we are able to offer the wonderful sauces, spreads, salsas, and dips that our family has enjoyed over the years.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy bringing them to you! ~Denise Gordon
