These rainbow extensions are giving me FOMO 😟

We wanted to add some pops of color without having to mess with their overall color too much. Sticking with one color for a year and swapping our the extensions is a great way to give your own hair a break but still having a ton of fun with the custom colored extensions.

Did y'all know I do waxing and brow tinting as well? Fun fact: I used to do literally everything - Body waxing, spray tans, body wraps, facials, nails, etc. It's only the last 4 years that I've primarily focused on haircolor. This vibe is blending modern and vintage and I am looooving it. This blue will last a long time, so we won't have to constantly be upkeeping it in the salon. Our goal was an easier grow out, but still fun. To make the grow out even easier, I kept a slight shadow root with her natural color. The funny part about this was that she didn't even know her hair was this curly 😬 woops. New party trick unlocked.

A hot pink moment is making me want my own pink hair again 😬🤭 I'm somebody who loves to switch it up regularly, but nobody everyone is so impulsive. Some times I have vivid guests who come in once or twice a year for a refresh and that's all they need. Which are you?

My partners hair has always been wavy, but over the last few months I've started to notice some cute lil curly bits. We decided to try to bring out the natural waves when we refreshed this color and I'm so surprised with how pretty and curly he is! I'm thankful that has such good products (New Wash and Undressed ) to help us bring out his natural texture. Also, check out this electric purple made with all colors.

Ever wonder about the maintenance of

1. Keep in mind whether or not you want one natural side and one colorful side. This can change the texture and health of one side of your hair and not the other.

2. When re-coloring it you have to be very methodical in where you section the hair to make sure you aren't overlapping anything. This can take a little bit longer to do

3. Changing the color can be a little trickier if you want to go back to an all-over single color. It's something that can be done with skill, but it's not as simple as just slapping one color on everything and moving on. Those colors will look different and fade different too.

Overall, as someone with my own split haircolor, it's a really fun way to have multiple colors. I love refreshing mine and just slightly changing the tones I have in my hair without doing a whole overhaul each time.

💚👽 block coloring looks sick on naturally curly hair. This is something that grows out a little more dramatically than some of the more natural color placements. If you're someone who likes to embrace the fade though, it could be a really fun option.

Refreshing your vivids doesn't always have to be a whole ordeal.

I know I preach it, but it's true! A common misconception with Vivids is that they're a lot of upkeep. And while that may be true in certain circumstances, it's not always that black or white.

If you embrace the fade and the roots, we can just refresh the color instead of doing a ton of lightening every single time.

🐱 I have two cats that you'll hear me complain about a lot in the salon. Selina is nearly 10 and she is a pretty little prissy princess who is afraid of her own shadow. Mushroom is 2 and he's a giant fungus and the biggest hamb. But I love them both so much it hurts.

🌈 I am q***r, I am neurodivergent, and I am chronically Ill. All of these things have a safe space in my chair.

💇🏻‍♀️ My main services that I like to focus on in the salon are vivid haircolor and extensions. Expressing yourself fully and embracing who you are with your hair is a superpower, and not everyone is brave enough to do it.

Photos vs real life has always been an issue with haircolor. In person this color looks more like a vintage denim - while on camera it looks more like a muted oil slick. Have you ever looked at pictures of yourself and thought that your hair looked different than it does in person?

Just to name a few of the many other significant life events of this year. It's been a tiring year, and yet I still some how feel so grateful for everything I do have.
