Encouraging and supporting vocations to the Holy Priesthood and Diaconate in the National Catholic Church, PNCC.
A portion of the Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus:
Be King to those men whom You shall call into the Holy Priesthood. Allow them to take refuge in Your Sacred Heart as they dedicate their lives to You in the ministry. Allow them, O Lord, to have a strong faith and a determined mind to undertake the yoke of ministry. Call many, Lord, to Your vineyard.

An awesome article:
From Tradition to Transformation In the dynamic religious landscape of the United States, the Polish National Catholic Church (PNCC) emerges as a unique denomination that has extended its reach far beyond its original Polish immigrant constituency.
The Diaconal Ordination of Cleric Sean Dodd will be on Saturday, March 9th. Holy Mass with the orders of Subdeacon and Deacon will begin at 10 a.m. on that day. As has been the tradition in the past this will allow the new ordinand to participate in the service of Holy Week and Easter as a Deacon. A small luncheon will be held in the parish hall after the ordination. All are welcome.
Check it out -- Episode 9 of the Best Kept Secret has been posted – In Pre-Lent: Regular Folks, Christmas, Pre-Lent, Lent, Stocks, PNCC All Around, A Lot More - with the Best Kept Secret
It has been three months since our last get together. We once again cover a lot. The PNCC/NCC – the Best Kept Secret – is getting lots of attention.
We start of in a discussion concerning normalcy – are there normal Christians? Do you have to be weird to be a member of the PNCC/NCC? Is this a Church for just regular everyday people? Sure, problems may come up from time to time, but that is just part of our growth and coming together as the family of God.
We have reports from our Christmas and Epiphany holidays including new interest in the PNCC/NCC in Japan. A trip to Disney. Parental joys and experiences. And… what’s up with Disney's stock price?
A huge uptick in interest in the PNCC/NCC on reddit and independent converge on YouTube channels. The word is getting out there and people are getting it. Truth in coverage versus polemics and false witness is key. Also, we’d love for to visit a PNCC/NCC parish and learn more about us.
Bishop Chad Holder Jones – the sacraments, Bl. William Laud, and the PNCC/NCC understanding of the Holy Eucharist and the Sacrament of the Word. The key is being in the word every day sustained by the Eucharist.
Incense again… and is Sean contemplative? BTW – don’t accept any gifts of incense from Sean.
Things coming up in the PNCC/NCC. Tonsure and the Minor Orders. The Sprit’s gifts in various ministries. Favorite Books when we were children and more with the Best Kept Secret.

Lord Jesus, Great High Priest and Eternal Shepherd, for the building and expansion of Your Kingdom You have called forth men to apostolic orders to serve in Your Church. By the grace of the Holy Spirit strengthen the Prime Bishop, bishops priests and deacons. Endue them with the gifts of wisdom, understanding and knowledge; guide them with Your counsel, give them strength to fulfill their ministry. Fill them with the spirit of piety and the fear of the Lord so they can be true witnesses of Your Gospel. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
God bless Fr. Sr. William Chromey on his 58 years of service as a priest in the PNCC. Congratulations and many years!!!

Do I have a vocation?
Do I have a vocation? In simple words, yes, we all do. God has a role for each of us in His kingdom. But, how can I be sure that God is calling me to a life of professional commitment to His people through ministry in the Church?
Some people can enter a church and feel suddenly at peace. Some are taken by the beauty of the Eucharist or a liturgical service. Some feel a passion for proclaiming God’s word and for teaching. Some see the suffering or need in their brothers and sisters and want to help – not just with the immediate need but with God’s eternal love. Others look to the holy example of the saints and modern heroes, who espouse and live according to God’s word, and seek to follow that example.
Yes, each person has a role in God’s Kingdom. The role is clearest when we listen to God’s plan for us. When we wipe away the facades and the pretenses, and stand before God as the people we really are. When we do this we can say to the Lord – “Here I am, I heard you calling” We are then ready to strive to meet that calling with all our energy, freely giving of ourselves and our talents in the process.
Giving ourselves to God does not necessarily require us to commit to the life of a priest or deacon. It does require that we give ourselves to God fully in each thing we do. It requires us to see Christ in all of our brothers and sisters – especially in those where it is most difficult to find Him.
