Founded by Master Chocolatier Dana Taylor Davenport, our first shop opened in Seattle's vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood in 1976. What began as a humble chocolate and coffee shop has grown to be one of the premier chocolate brands of the Pacific Northwest with Mocha Café locations throughout the greater Seattle area.

Dilettante Chocolates is an established gourmet food company located in Tukwila, WA. We are currently seeking an experienced Baker / Pastry Cook to join our pastry and baking department at our kitchen in Tukwila, WA.
Our full-time Experienced Baker has a morning work shift of Sunday - Thursday and earn a competitive wage starting at $19/hour, depending on your skills & experience.
Pastry Cook Qualifications:
*2 years of professional bakery experience, including high-volume scratch production
*Certificate of Baking, or comparable experience
Pastry school experience is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you take pride in cleanliness? Do you present yourself professionally? Are you extremely organized and detail-oriented? Do you work well with minimal supervision? Can you effectively adjust to workload demands in a commercial kitchen setting? By combining rich, melted chocolate with carefully selected blends of coffee, Dilettante Mocha Café has created a truly exceptional café concept. Founded in Capitol Hill Seattle in 1976, 3rd Generation Chocolatier Dana Davenport set out to differentiate himself from the burgeoning café culture of the Emerald City by bringing his decadent chocolate recipes to the forefront through cakes, truffles, and the now celebrated Mocha Menu.
At the heart of our Mocha Café concept is the Dilettante Chocolate Scale. Choose from five cacao percentages to truly customize your mocha or hot chocolate experience. From deep dark chocolate at 72% cacao, to smooth and creamy white chocolate at 31% cacao, there is a delightful chocolate profile for every palate. The chocolate used to create our luscious mochas and hot chocolate is melted in pots right behind our counters to create each rich chocolate beverage.
