UPDATE - Selene 4548 reached a big milestone today. This morning, the factory launched her into the water for the first time. The final touches will be done in the water and sea-trials will be performed. Once the factory submits the notification of completion, one of our representatives will visit the factory and do a thorough survey before 4548 ships out to the east coast. As expected, the boat looks beautiful in the water.

Selene 6050 is underway! The factory returned from their Chinese New Year break last week and they’re hard at work laying up the hull for “Full Circle”. We’ll post more updates as the build progresses.

SOLD! We have sold the 2005 Selene 48 “Marmee”. The deal closed earlier this week. We have a lot of wonderful memories of this Selene, going back to the previous owner. She will remain in the Pacific Northwest so keep an eye out for her and the new owners this summer!

Had a wonderful trip to visit the Jet Tern Factory earlier this month. It was my first time traveling to China since Covid and the whole travel process was quite easy. At the factory, I was able to check in on our current Selene 45 build and discuss a variety of things with the team. It had been many years since I had seen Howard so it was great to spend time with him. They have a lot going on at the factory and the new build shed/marina is going to be an excellent addition to the factory. We’ll be back in the spring for the final QC of the 45 before shipment

Selene 4548 is making great progress at the factory. All of the interior modules are in place and many of the systems are getting ready to be installed. We will be visiting the factory next week to meet with the Jet Tern team, finalize a few details for this build and talk about a couple future builds.

Hull Release - Selene 4548 is starting to take shape. Now that the hull reinforcement has been installed, the first major production milestone is release the hull from the mould. As you can see, the hull is suspended in air while they pull the moulds away from the hull. The hull will be placed onto a cradle where it will sit until the boat is ready for its float test and sea trial. Next step: Hull & Deck Joining
