Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there - to human kids but also to all our furry (feathery/scaly/etc) kids as well! You are so loved and appreciated for all you do! ❤️
Summer is here - and so are the foxtails! While they may look harmless, they have barbs on them that latch on and can cause MAJOR problems for you pet. We’ve seen them inside ear canals, in the eye, in the hard palate of the mouth, and burrowed into paws causing infection, pain and worse. Make sure you protect your pet this foxtail season!
Happy birthday Iris! We love you!! 🥰🥰🥰
July 4th is coming up quickly, and now is the perfect time to give your vet a call or make an appt to chat about anxiety meds. We often want to do a trial run or two ahead of time to find the right dose/timing to help ease some of that anxiety and let you pet rest a bit easier during the holidays!
Today, and everyday, we are here to support all humans and their pets, with kindness and compassion. Let’s all remember to spread love, and remove hatred and judgement from our world - one day at a time ❤️
Be sure to take a moment this weekend to remember and honor those who have fought for our freedom. We are sending all our love and support to the family members of those we lost.
Be safe everyone ❤️
We are hanging out in Fremont today with - talking about pets and preventative care today!

Imagine if you didn’t brush your teeth for a month? A year? A few years?? Gross, right??
We do recommend brushing pets teeth daily (just 10 seconds makes a huge difference!) - but they also need regular deep cleanings under the gumline, just like us! Most pets need this annually throughout their lives to be preventative. Dental disease is so common in our pets - and can really negatively affect the rest of their organs and health long term - so ask your vet if you notice any of these signs and we can help determine what care your pet might need!
We meet so many sweet amazing friends (human and furry!) at Fremont Animal Hospital each week. We wanted to hop on and just share a few of those sweet faces with you today to round out your week too!
With the potential for cold weather in the next week, here are some reminders!
Happy new years - to all our friends and family members! We appreciate and love every one of you!
Great advice for new years eve!
Ease your pet's anxiety this New Year's Eve with these seven tried-and-true strategies. A stress-free celebration for all! 🐾✨
New Years Eve is coming up fast, and if your pets are afraid of the fireworks, you might be getting worried for them.
We recommend tiring them out earlier in the day, playing loud music or tv to drown out some noise, and using positive distraction to help them feel less stressed (frozen Kong or lick mat, food toys, snuffle mats, favorite toys/games, etc). In addition, make sure you give your vet a call to pick up some anxiety meds and try them out prior to that night if they need the extra support!
We just wanted to wish you all happy holidays! We are so thankful for everyone that is a part of our Fremont family, and we hope you all and your furry family members have a safe and beautiful holiday season 🥰
With Christmas and new years coming up - be sure to keep your pets safe by knowing about the most common toxins associated with these holidays! They can’t handle fatty foods or most sweets, and can also get into things like candles, ornaments, tinsel, plants, etc. Please do your research and keep your pet safe and happy this holiday by protecting them from these risks!
If you think your pet got into any of these things - contact your veterinarian immediately for advice and guidance ❤️
Little Banjo was adorable AND brave for his first vet visit this week! It helped that we all melted into puddles of love when we saw him! Welcome to our family little buddy!
