We had a blast at the Crown Hill Street Festival! Tunes from and tacos from set the scene for an awesome neighborhood event. We sold some honey and wraps, chatted with other makers, met some neighbors, and captured it all.

Bumble bees love birdhouses! We had a queen set up her nest in our compost last year and we felt chosen. It was so fun to watch them bumble about. I'm not saying that building a birdhouse at the CH Community Garden on Saturday between 11 and 5 will guarantee you a bumble bee show this summer - but it might!

Join us this weekend in the Crown Hill Community Garden to build birdhouses! Art for your garden, and a home for a bird. Build a birdhouse for chickadees, wrens, and other small birds (or maybe bumble bees). Mount your birdhouse in your yard or in your favorite tree. Last year, we had several broods raised in the Crown Hill made birdhouses. You bring the kids, the Crown Hill Community Garden will have the tools and supplies! Learn more about the Crown Hill Village Association - get involved, sign up for the mailing list, or join as member and get a t-shirt! Saturday, March 5th. 11 AM - 5 PM.
