Our first year of initiating a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) initiatives program has been a huge success! Through educational workshops, awareness events, and open discussions, DEIB has empowered everyone at RUN to speak up, creating an inclusive atmosphere where each voice is valued and respected. Thank you to everyone who has helped us build a workplace that celebrates everyone’s unique identity and perspective!

Good luck to our Production Coordinator, Jaina Galves, who is spending the next month as a member of the Nautilus Exploration Program! This weekend RUN team members attended the innaugural Alzheimer’s Help & Hope Gala, which raised over $350,000 to help in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. RUN produced two videos for the event that helped share personal stories from those impacted by the disease. For more information, please visit alz.org.

Our team hit the road this week to Central Valley, CA and Jackson, MS to document how Microsoft is helping to support journalism through collaborations with local news outlets.

It was a full house last week for RUN’s first All Hands meeting in our new office! The leadership team gave updates, highlighted successes, and discussed plans for the future. Afterward, we had a little happy hour to celebrate.

Our team had the privilege of partnering with Mary's Place on their fundraising video for the annual No Child Sleeps Outside benefit. Mary’s Place has helped thousands of families move out of homelessness into more stable situations.
