Up to 675,000 Washington State households will receive a $200 reduction on their electricity bills through the Washington Families Clean Energy Credits Program. Under the state's Climate Commitment Act, this program aims to assist low- and moderate-income households in transitioning to clean energy.

The Washington State Department of Commerce has allocated grants to all Washington electric utilities serving residential customers. These utilities will apply $200 bill credits to eligible accounts by September 15, 2024. Applying for the program only takes a minute, so don't miss out!

**Eligibility for Credits**
Customers with low to moderate incomes are eligible for a one-time $200 bill credit. The credits will be applied to active utility accounts by September 15, 2024. Some customers may automatically receive credits if enrolled in ratepayer assistance programs, such as senior, disabled, or Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Those involved in other community assistance programs, such as home weatherization or nutrition assistance, might also qualify for automatic credits.
