Each real estate journey is distinct. I invest time in understanding the unique needs and preferences of every client, ensuring their experience is customized and positive. Together, we achieve successful results. It’s crucial to me that my clients feel heard and understood throughout the process. Whether it's finding the ideal neighborhood, securing a high selling price, or ensuring a smooth closing, I am committed to helping them reach their real estate objectives.
My dog, for no reason other than he's adorable.
Seattle is a notoriously dog friendly city, it's a great place to live with your four-legged family member. Businesses put water bowls out on the sidewalks, and many establishments welcome your companion dogs in as well.
This graph shows rent increases for the entire country -- and in the Greater Seattle area, it's much higher. No doubt it's cheaper to rent than to buy. But only at first. Owning your home means you get to say goodbye to annual rent hikes, and you have a stable monthly mortgage payment. And it's a huge investment in your future.
So many people think they can't buy a home, but in actuality they can, they just don't have the right information to make it happen. So they wait. And prices just keep going up. And endless game of catch up.
Do yourself a favor. If you want to buy a house, talk to a high quality mortgage lender (I can recommend a few to you) and a great real estate agent (get in touch with me) and see what the options are for your specific situation.

This time of year in the Pacific Northwest is incredible and it'll just keep getting better the closer to summer we get. Longer days, sunny days, more days when you'll be hearing, "The mountain is out!" This is a great time to be in Seattle!

Not every real estate journey ends as planned, but a positive experience is always the goal. My client moved out of state and didn't end up buying a home with me. But I referred him to a trusted agent in his new state, and he was successful in his home search there. Even when plans change, it's rewarding to know that my efforts can make an impact. His feedback reaffirms my commitment to supporting clients, no matter where their journey takes them.

Homebuyers: Would you pass on a house you love because it doesn't have a gas stove or gas hookups?
I've seen this happen multiple times, and I think that's really unfortunate. It's not easy to find a house in a tough market like Seattle, and when homebuyers find one they love, I hate to see them walk away over an appliance.
I get it--gas stoves have that luxurious appearance, and a lot of people think it's the best way to cook. But a lot of people haven't heard of or haven't tried induction cooktops. Induction competes with and even exceeds the benefits of gas cooking. Dive into my latest blog post to learn all about the benefits of induction cooktops and why a lack of gas shouldn't be a dealbreaker when it comes to homebuying.
Induction cooktops vs. gas stoves for homebuyers Explore the benefits of induction cooktops over gas stoves in our latest blog post. Learn why induction is ideal for modern kitchens.
📍 Maple Leaf Reservoir Park, 1020 NE 82nd St., Seattle
This spot is terrific for recreation and meeting up with friends and family. It features 16 acres of parkland, a system of pathways, upper and lower levels, rain gardens, sports courts, ball fields, and a children's play area.
I think Maple Leaf is a hidden gem. A lot of people think about Ballard, Wallingford, Ravenna, Northgate, etc., when they think about North Seattle. But Maple Leaf is a terrific little community with easy access to downtown, transit, and more. Check it out!
I'm thrilled when a student from my homebuyer seminar can take that education and turn it into a successful deal. And it's a great source of pride when they trust me to sell that home down the road or help them buy another property.
This week found me exploring Seattle's Maple Leaf neighborhood, capturing footage for an upcoming walking tour series (more details to come!). Each visit to the area includes a must-stop at Cafe Javasti, an awesome local coffee shop. If you're in need of a caffeine boost or a sugary delight, this place is a gem. With delicious beverages, scrumptious snacks, and friendly faces, it's a favorite haunt of mine. Definitely worth a visit!

Have you noticed these rainwater cisterns in some Seattle gardens? They're a fantastic method for collecting rainwater, reducing reliance on our main water supplies.
Through the 700 Million Gallons initiative, King County Wastewater Treatment Division and Seattle Public Utilities aim to expand Green Stormwater Infrastructure across local communities. If eligible for the RainWise rebate program, you can install a cistern like the one shown in the photo, ideal for watering your lawns, gardens, and flower beds. Check out the program website at 700milliongallons.org, it's pretty interesting stuff!
Every client is different. Unique wants and preferences, different styles of communication, etc. I take the time to get to know my clients to make sure their needs are met and that I'm communicating with them in the way they will best receive the information. In the end, we all walk away with a successful real estate transaction that we can feel good about.
If you're considering selling your home, hiring a real estate agent is your best bet for a successful, stress-free sale. While it's tempting to go the For Sale By Owner route, in my latest blog post check out why it makes more sense to rely on an agent's expertise.
Why hiring an agent is your best move when selling your home Learn how to optimize your home sale with a real estate agent's expertise in market knowledge, pricing, marketing, negotiation, and contracts.
Getting this kind of feedback from clients is incredibly special, because this is exactly how I want my clients to feel when we work together: EMPOWERED. When you are buying or selling a house, it's your transaction. Your decision.
I am never going to pressure a client to buy or sell a home just to close. Buying and selling is a big deal, an emotional process, and I want my clients to feel good about their real estate transaction.
Every winter, I start talking about moving to San Diego. The rainy, dark days are draining. Then spring arrives and I'm reminded of why I love living in the Seattle area.
🏠❤️ There's no place like home, especially when you find the perfect one. I'm thrilled to have played a role in my client's journey to finding their dream home.
The best way I know to find my clients their dream home is simple: I listen to them. I take the time to understand what's important to them and then work as hard as I can to get them the deal and into their chosen home.
