I've been coming to Northwest Folklife since I was a little kid. So, it always has been near and dear to me. What has been great for me getting to livestream the festival with RG Pro / Northwest Film Forum with The Elite Collective the last few years, is a reason to be here all four days!! And to watch how much joy this festival brings to the people who attend. I love watching all the families that come with their picnic blanket and basket, the kids rolling around on the grass, the couples, young and old enjoying each other's company. It's not just the music, it's everything about the festival. It really lifts the spirits! If you weren't able to come down, I hope you were able to catch a little piece of the festival on the livestream!

RGP is looking for 2 clients for this Sunday to be a part of our "Production Day". Do you have a small business or non-profit that could benefit from a short video? Our students hold a "client meeting" and find our your needs and then conduct a video interview. You provide whatever b-roll you would like and our students will edit it together for you, We need one person in the am and one in the afternoon. Will take 3 hours tops of your time. The NWFF/RGP summer camp (https://nwfilmforum.org/.../community-storytelling.../ )for teens will be shooting their stories over the next 2 days and we are looking for a few actors to help them tell their stories. For tomorrow, Wednesday, 8/3, looking for 2 soccer players, 18-28 ish, any gender, any ethnicity. For Thursday, 1 actor, preferably Thai, 18-28ish for a mockumentary to help tell the story of this young Thai filmmaker! 6-8 hour day and we can offer a $100 honorarium.
