I know many families are wondering about summer and fall registration. We are in the process of completely redoing our website, which unfortunately didn't get up and running on time. I am so sorry we're running behind! I've been in contact with our web tech and everything should be available this evening. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!

Good evening everyone! Paperwork packets for fall will be emailed this week. Also, for those of you who don't already know, Jennifer (our office manager) retired recently. We are in the process of getting all her emails forwarded to Mckinsey. So, if you have a billing or office question, email Mckinsey ([email protected]). You'll get an answer much faster if you do. =)
Thank you everyone for being so understanding while I (slowly) get caught up with all the registration paperwork. I also want to thank all of our families who have been so supportive during my pregnancy and checking in on me and this little guy over the past month. Stay safe, stay healthy and we'll see you in the summer!

Happy Friday, everyone! I know many of you are waiting on confirmations about summer and fall. I got WAY more registrations than I was anticipating. Between the number of forms I received and taking care of a newborn, I'm a bit behind on emails. I apologize for not sending them out sooner, but rest assured that all confirmation emails will go out today and tomorrow. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay healthy and safe, all!

Good evening all! It has been brought to my attention that some of the invoices that were sent out yesterday did not have the link to pay online. If you fall under that heading, please email Mckinsey ([email protected]) so that she can resend them with the proper link. Stay healthy!
Good evening all! We have been able to find a way for families to pay their registration fees/tuition online! There are a couple of ways that we can now accept online payments- any amount under $100 may be paid via credit card without incurring additional fees. All other amounts will be accepted via AHC transfer. There will be a $3.00 processing fee added to any account paid using this method.
Until we are able to be back on site, this is how we will be accepting registration fees for summer and fall. Once we receive your form we will invoice you for your fee. You should be able to pay right from your invoice.
Sorry for all the confusion around registration, everyone! The website should be updated soon to reflect registration starting on time. Thank you for all your patience during this difficult time. We appreciate all of our families for working with us while we navigate things.
Hey there everyone! We hope you all are doing well, staying safe and healthy. Since registration is supposed to be starting while schools are shut down, we have many families asking how/if we are going to be able to have registration forms available.
As of right now, our plan is to continue with registration as planned on April 1st. All forms should be available on our website and families will be able to email us their completed registration forms. We will hold off on collecting the fees until we are back on site. If you have any questions, you are still more than welcome to email us: [email protected].
Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this tumultuous time.
Fyi, because of the snow day a couple weeks ago, school and Blazing Trails will operate on normal Wednesday hours tomorrow January 29th for a snow make up day.
Reminder: Blazing Trails will be closed Monday January 20th in observance of MLK day.
Following the district's decision, Blazing Trails will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday January 15th. For more information, please visit Seattle school's website.
Due to ice and snow conditions, Blazing Trails will follow the Seattle school district and open 2 hours late on Monday January 13th. If your child attends the morning program and goes to another school, please check their snow routes to see if pathfinder is included. Staff will not be able to transport children to snow routes.

REMINDER: Seattle public schools will be closed Friday October 11th for professional development. Blazing Trails will be open all day, from 6:30 to 6:00 for those with a regular Friday schedule, before or after. If you need care and are not normally scheduled for a Friday, please contact our office about availability.
Reminder: tomorrow night is our BT Family potluck! Hopefully many of our families will be able to make it. The event will go from 6:00 to 7:30, and please bring a dish to share.
Attention: according to the new law concerning MMR vaccines, Blazing Trails will no longer be allowed to accept personal/philosophical exemptions. The new law takes effect on July 28th. Any child, staff member or volunteer with incomplete immunity will be unable to attend Blazing Trails until the proper exemption has been returned or progress has been made towards getting the required vaccination. If you would like further information on how this may affect your child's enrollment with us, please call our office at 206-937-5160 and speak with Jennifer or Mckinsey.
Reminder: Blazing Trails will be closed to students this Friday June 28th. We will have staff on site preparing for summer if you have any questions or need to drop off paperwork.
Here comes the sun! With the weather getting warmer, Blazing Trails will begin applying/offering sunscreen when we go to recess. If your child has their own, that's an added bonus!
We would also like to encourage parents and guardians to help remind kiddos to bring water bottles. BT has several areas where children may refill their bottles and take them to other areas while in our care. It's also a good way to help them get in the habit for summer. 😁
Program evaluations will start next week due to 4-8 grade camping.
Summer is fast approaching! Whether your child is coming to us this summer, attending other camps or just getting some extra parent time at home, our staff here would like to encourage parents and guardians to start thinking about their child's swimming abilities.
BT goes on several water themed field trips during the summer, and it's always a plus when children feel confident in their swimming. Or wading. Several pools and lakes require children to take swim tests to advance further than their waist or armpits. If your child is comfortable at their swimming level, great! If they'd like to expand on what they already know, it may be a good time to look into swimming lessons.
Reminder: Registration forms are available this weekend! If you are planning on enrolling your child/ren in our summer or fall programs, make sure to get your forms in early!
