Our Story
Freeway Motors Inc, now known as University Audi and University Volkswagen, has been a fixture in Seattle's University of Washington District since the late 1950's.
Our founder, Bob Will, while working at a local bank, invested in a small dealership selling an unknown little car called the Volkswagen Beetle.
Bob was born and raised just a few blocks from the dealership in the University District. After serving in the Army Airforce during World War II, he completed his education at the University of Washington, where he was a member of the four-oared Crew that won an Olympic Gold Medal at the 1948 London Olympic Games.
Bob's strong work ethics and vision built the once small store into one of the Northwest's best automobile dealerships.
