Summer is a difficult time to collect blood. High school blood drives are closed. Donors are on vacation or out of their regular routines. Meanwhile, due to people being more active and more accidents occurring, the demand for blood increases in summer. You see the dilemma: higher demand, less supplies!

To help build blood supplies just prior to the start of summer season, Salty’s on Alki is hosting blood drives in the (lower level) Alki Room on Mon June 3, Tues June 4, Mon June 10 and Tues June 11. Let’s stock up on blood supplies for our community!
Please sign up and reserve your spot to give blood!

Appointments are required. If you need help booking your appointment, please contact the Bloodworks Northwest DONOR CARE TEAM at 1-800-398-7888 or e-mail [email protected]

If you would like to save a little time at the drive, you can do the 2nd phase (health and lifestyle questions) of the donation process from the comfort of your home the morning of the drive, via quick pass. Just bring the QR code with you to the drive (provided after you answer the questions)
