HANA S SERIES SUMMER SAVINGS!

Hawthorne Stereo is pleased to host an open house with one of our most long-term partners – ATC Loudspeakers – on Thursday, August 8th. Stop in from noon to 7pm to hear ATC speakers in several systems and introduce yourself to the extraordinary musical honesty required by top studios for 50 years.

Leland Leard from Lone Mountain Audio, US distributors of ATC, will be on hand to answer questions, showcase the lovely new limited edition version of the SCM20ASL monitors and C4SUBmk2 subwoofer. This is the first time the renowned SCM20 has been available in full active configuration and the special anniversary finish-work is absolutely gorgeous. Also playing will be ATC electronics and the ATC line of home speakers from the mighty little SCM7 to the ultra-capable SCM50SL, all mainstays of the Hawthorne Stereo lineup.

The route to pure musical enjoyment need not involve large boxes or a huge stack of components. In this system, pure magic comes from the Naim Audio Nait50 Anniversary integrated amp. This modern classic was created to celebrate 50 years of Naim Audio and borrows its design from the celebrated Nait1 from 1983. Like the Nait1 the 50 has an excellent MM phono preamp onboard, but the power output (25watts/225watts peak) is now sufficient to drive almost a speakers.

We must be stuck in an alternate timeline because it’s 2024 and Hawthorne Stereo is selling new cassette decks again! These cool French designed portable battery-powered cassette players have Bluetooth out, 3.5mm headphone out, 3.5mm analog input for recording, and are recharged with a USB-C charger!
