On Saturday, Oct. 21, Southwest Teen Life Center will host a “Grand Opening” and launching of the free “Great Night” program!
Great NIght takes place every Saturday from 7pm-12am for young adults ages 18+. It was created to give young adults who have graduated/aged out of the original Late-Night program a safe place to recreate during later hours of the evening.
In addition to our usual recreational activities, we will be providing Job Readiness Programs (resume writing/interview skill building), Financial Literacy, Certifications, and access to Apprenticeships, Focus Groups/Parenting Classes, and referrals for Mental Health/Counseling.
We hope to leverage our partnerships with community CBOs to provide much needed resources and continue guidance and mentorship to the participants.
