Exciting Summer News: New Resin Art Class & Art Show Schedule! Click here for an update from Rusted Element Design!
Sometimes resin does a dance all on its own and I get a nice surprise once it’s cured. I used deep pour resin by and metallic blue that helped do some of the heavy lifting.
That said, whatcha up to this weekend? This pretty and I will be at Saturday and Sunday. I think you should make a trip over to Magnusson Park Hangar 30 to check out some amazing handmade goodies and come say hi while you’re at it. We’ll be there 11-5 both days.
Check out our markets, classes, and products... oh my!
Hi there,
I hope this message finds you well! I’m excited to share some updates and upcoming events where you can join us. Here’s what’s happening:
Upcoming Markets
My Spring and Summer schedule has been quickly filling up. I have several on the books and I'm excited to see you sometime. Here are a handful that are coming up next. You can find an updated list on my webpage under the FIND US link in the navigation or you can simply click the button below.
This weekend, 4/20 & 4/21, I'll be at the Renegade Craft Fair at Magnusson Park Hangar 30 from 11 AM to 5 PM both days. Catch me again at the Valley Made Market in Mount Vernon on May 19th from 10 AM to 4 PM.
For the summer, look forward to seeing us at West Seattle Summerfest, Alki Beach Art Fair, and Magnolia Summerfest.
If you ever need a gift quickly, remember you can find a selection of my boards and coasters at Venue in Ballard or contact me directly for available handmade items.
Upcoming Classes
Spaces are limited but available in our ocean resin art cutting board classes on May 19th and May 30th at the Francis Anderson Center in Edmonds. These classes have been so fun and the group I work with at the center are amazing. I have classes scheduled with them through the end of summer in case you can't make one of the next few.
I recently had a great time hosting ocean resin art tray classes at Bale Breaker and Yonder Cider Taproom in Seattle, and I'm planning more in various locations around Seattle soon. Stay tuned for updates and secure your spot as they become available! My last class in Seattle sold out in a few days of me posting so be sure to act quick.

Wishing you and yours a happy and fun holiday season.
I can’t take credit for this masterpiece, but I just had to share it. My wife, , crafted a few of these stunning wreaths out of cans this season. All those beer cans she’s been saving since summer finally made sense. 😂
What do you think?
In need of a last-minute holiday gift? just received a restock of our boards and coasters. Swing by today or tomorrow to explore these colorful ocean-inspired pieces, along with works from other amazing artists.

If you can’t make it to that class, I have more classes scheduled in Edmonds and I’m still working on adding other classes in and around Seattle in new year.
Such a fun day at Bellingham Dockside Market! Thanks to the team (and of course Santa Claws) for all of their hard work to create such a special day for all.
I don’t often use many colors, especially warmer tones. This board was a commissioned piece, a sister to one I made earlier this year with the same wood and red hue. What do you think? Love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments below.
By the way, I’ll have other River Boards available this weekend at on Saturday and on Sunday. There are only a handful left for the season, and once they’re gone, I’ll be taking a break until next year before starting a new batch.
Looking forward to seeing your beautiful faces this weekend!
I have a few cribbage boards left and they, among a few other ocean themed products, will be at the last few markets of the season I will be at this weekend.
If you’ll be up North on Saturday, come see us at in the Pavilion at Squalicum Harbor
If you’ll be in and around Seattle on Sunday, come see us at Maker’s Magic at Block 41 in Belltown.
Looking forward to seeing you!
PS. Check out those “hang ten” pegs! I think they’re perfect for this style . What do you think? 🤙
