ommon fire.” she shares. “My grandmother and my mother were amazing artists and as a child I thought EVERYONE was an artist, it sounds silly but I had no idea NOT everyone painted!” she laughs. “I am of the belief, though, that we as children were ALL artists….we have just FORGOTTEN.”

Oils are Linda’s primary medium, although she works in watercolors, colored pencil and acrylic. “I love the luminosity and depth of oils, it really brings life into the work!” The fact that her heart is in her work is evident in much of her subject matter. Her background is in portraits, having worked for 6 years producing hand-painted memorial portraits and studying color with master artists. “Portraits are the greatest story tellers. Faces convey messages like nothing else. It tells who we are.”

Linda has a degree in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Seattle. She has also done over 35 murals locally in private homes, churches, businesses, from as close as our local Grilla Bites restaurant to as far away as a remote school in Mossoro, Brazil. She has been featured in the Everett Herald and has done many illustrations for local magazines and non-profits. In her career she has done countless portraits that have gone all over the world.
