Skate Like a Girl empowers individuals, especially young womxn, to become strong, confident leaders who promote and implement equity through the vehicle of skateboarding. Established in Olympia, WA in 2000 as an unincorporated association, Skate Like a Girl is a volunteer driven organization founded by Holly Sheehan and Fleur Larsen. In 2005, Skate Like a Girl relocated to Seattle and, in May 2007

Join us this Black History Month as we rally together for a special Women and/or Trans Session benefiting A Positive Seed (APS). This organization, led by Christiana Smith, aims to empower and uplift underserved youth in Detroit through free skateboarding programs. Funds received will help them in their mission to serve over 500 skaters this year!

ALL proceeds from this special Women and/or Trans Session will go to A Positive Seed’s incredible work.
