The unisex Jokapoika shirt is a cult classic featuring the Piccolo pattern. The shirt has an oversized fit with a straight cut to the hip hemline, small side slits, and a stitched-on chest pocket. Metal buttons secure the front closure and cuffs.

In 1953, designer Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created the Piccolo fabric, a striped fabric painted with freehand brushstrokes during her first year at Marimekko

Understated Luxury: Jan Machenhaur’s Louise 100% cotton cambric sleeveless top is printed with stripes using a 6” x 6” block. The checks are created using two layers of striped print, with one layer going horizontally and the other going vertically. This printing technique is based on traditional Indian craftsmanship. It is done by hand, which results in unique variations and imperfections in each garment.
