We love to see it! Dual credit courses, including College in the High School, are crucial in getting more students into 2- and 4- year colleges, apprenticeships, and certificate programs.
Partnership for Learning
Introducing: The College in the High School (CiHS) Equivalencies Tool! On one, easy-to-access webpage, you can see how college courses offered in high schools transfer among all six of Washington's 4-year public colleges and universities: https://ow.ly/YZbt50RV53U
This will help students and their families know how college courses taken through CiHS programs award college credit and how those credits transfer. It'll also help principals, school counselors, and other advisors know how credits transfer when deciding on the master schedule.
The more information Washingtonians have, the better they can plan their postsecondary journey, so our state can get to 70% credential attainment by the high school class of 2030!
