Per Seattle Pi: - Seattle Restaurant Week returns Oct 24 - Nov 6 with over 200 participating local restaurants. Foodies in Seattle are gearing up for an entire month of eating out as Seattle Restaurant Week (SRW) plans its return for April. The month-long promotion features over 200 participating restaurants offering special prix-fixe menus at excellent prices, giving many diners the chance to explore the region's vast culinary scene.

The last installation of SRW occurred in fall 2020 as many restaurants offered outdoor seating and takeout options to accommodate diners amid COVID-19 restrictions.
Now, with indoor dining resuming at 50% capacity as part of the state's reopening plan, restaurants are expanding their options to include in-person dining as well as takeout, meal-kits and delivery.

About your instructor!

Joe Wargo:
Joseph Wargo brings over 10+ years of hospitality and food service experience from the bustling city of Las Vegas, Nevada. He first got his start as a kitchen worker at the Fremont Casino in Las Vegas. Over the next several years he has served in all capacities, from cleaning kitchens, to bussing tables to serving customers and understands the balance between a strong work ethic and service with a smile. Joseph Wargo was voted “Seattle Favorite Bartender” in Seattle’s The Stranger publication. Cure Cocktail has also been featured on King 5 Evening, Komo, “The Infatuation” magazine, Seattle Met, and Yelp Co. for cocktail kits, bartending classes, bar ambiance and service. He is the current operator of Cure Cocktail for the past 5 years.

Purchase a class (the purple button on the page) first, then call 206-240-2731 to reserve a seat(s). Or Schedule your 'Pickup" time to the Friday that works for you. Classes are every Friday, only at 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Due to CoVid, that is the only day we are currently hosting classes.

Come learn bartending with us at Cure Cocktail! Each month, we host a 75min hands course that teaches a new set of drinks.

We’ll go over and sample these classic recipes in this hands-on 75-minute course.
Best of all, you’ll get to enjoy the drinks with us after class. We only have 12 seats per session, so seats are open first come first serve basis.
Bartending classes were our most requested social event, and we’ve been working on the series for over a year. Perfect for cocktail lovers, couples, and all interested in a fun evening.

Cost is $49 per person, includes dinner + 2 cocktails + drink samples during the class. Our Mixologist will seat you at the bar or at a table by request to be socially distanced.

What is Remedium Island Grill vs Cure Cocktail?

They are the SAME location. Cure is the name of the bartop, Remedium is the kitchen. All reservations are for the same location located at 1449 E Pine St, Seattle, 98122. Search, Remedium Island Grill & Cure Cocktail on Google maps.

What dinner items can I choose?

Choose from three options - a house charcuterie and cheese platter, any of our signature burgers or any of our Tacos.

What drinks will I get?
Our Mixologist changes the cocktails per season and local ingredients. At the end of class you can choose to create the cocktail you've learned or specify a drink and we can make it for you!

About Zoee
Zoee is a watercolor painter, focusing in a minimalist and impressionist style. Art and nature has been an important part of her life since a young age. She grew up in a beautiful southern town in China and was trained under a sumi-e painter at a young age. After growing up, she moved to United States to study animation in University of Pennsylvania, and then moved to Seattle after graduation.
Her memory of misty but sometimes sunny scenes of hometown resonates with pacific northwest quite well. This conscious or subconscious link moved her to incorporate minimalist eastern aesthetic into colorful western aesthetic. Through her art, she wants to channel peace and happiness to her audience, helping them ease the stress and pain in the modern life.
