πŸŽ‰Sneak Peak! Celebrating the progress I've made on my travel journal.oving the addition of cut out watercolor doodles on a watercolor backgrounds. The colors are popping! If I do one again, it will be during the trip vs after the trip. It's been a learning process, from making the journal from materials on hand, to layout and letting the perfectionist in me relax a bit to taking pauses as needed. Its also been alot of creative fun. I see creating and cutting out watercolor doodles in the future! βœ‚οΈπŸŽ¨

Have you ever made a ✈ travel journal or plan too? Where did you or will you travel to?🌴

I wandered through a small urban trail today, to clear my head. It's hard living with long term health conditions on all levels and being in nature always helps. From the bird songs, old trees, water sounds, sents, flowers and more. Finding some lovely, pink rose petals on the ground, I decided to create an impromptu earth art offering. Loving the red mossy and viney trunk and swee buttercup flowers.

*Do you notice the difference in your well being by being outdoors in some capacity?

Good morning! Sharing some items that I brought in to meditate with this morning. The goregous clam shell reminds me of angel wings and have a powerful energy. The lichen has a beautiful tree shape, the rose petal for the divine feminine, wood and silver hearts for love and the crystal for the light. They all came together to create a sweet vignette. What's on your table? What treasures have you collected lately and why? Feel free to DM or share in the comments below. 😊🀲

It's a beautiful Friday morning for a walk, creating a nature mandala and spotting Stellar Jay's and bird songs!🎡🐦 I gather only what has fallen and find a quiet, out of the way space, to leave an offering for someone to find. Creating nature mandalas helps me get grounded, connect with nature, use my creativity, and be present. Its also a gift for others and a way to honor mother earth.🌏

Seattleites, can you guess where this is? Let me know if you found it in tact. Swipe through for a hint!

Happy Spring! I love seeing the blossoming tulips, daffodils, cherry blossoms, buds on trees and birds chirping. 🌷🐦

I especially enjoy pressing flower petals for use in my jewelry making and nature mandalas. Here are some special, tiny flower petals that are pressed between glass. I've strung these pendants on a ball tree with sparkling accent beads. What a better way to celebrate the season and carry flower frequencies with you.

They can be found on my Etsy shop-see link on bio. Each design and petals color varies slightly .

How would you style these necklaces??

Look what I finally finished reading! It took me a year, through all of life's demands and the wading through the books heafty scientific experiments. However, It's really eye-opening to see what has been going on with degradading forestry practices, that gives some trees the ability to thrive and grow, while other species are removed,Β  especialty ancient trees.Β  I love learning about all the micorzial networks under tree roots that facilitates communication between trees for resources and more. . Did you know those networks mirror the neural networks in our brain? My favorite part was how she wrote her personal story about developing cancer and realizing the connection between illness and not speaking your truth. I have had manyΒ  health challenges that I continue to gain more awareness around the emotional component of illness. The thing that is always healing for me is being in nature area and hugging trees. Lastly, I was very happy to see her acknowledge of all the local tribal knowledge of the interconnectedness of trees and all creatures that create thriving forests, such as how bears and salmon.

Happy Fall! I found this colorful leaf standing straight up in the entrance to Cal Anderson park on Capitol Hill. I picked it up and took a few shots and carried it around the park to the Volcano. That's where the magic happened! I love the perspective, along with contrast of the textures and colors of the leaf, against the concrete and water. Have you been noticing or collecting any colorful leaves this season?
