What a weekend our teams had at the Cascade Cup, the Starfire Cup, the Cornucopia Cup and the Surf Cup NW! So many fantastic moments that we will be posting about in the coming days but first up is the incredible last kick of the game equalizer from Claire Isenhath in the final of the Surf Cup NW vs Bend FC as seen by the bench and the fans! The girls would ultimately lose in the resultant shootout but spirits remained high for what was a super weekend for the girls!

Well done to B14 Orange player Seth who recently had his first book published @akidsbookabout being in Foster Care! Here’s some words from the author!: “Hi, my name is Seth! I am a 3rd grader at Kimball Elementary School in Seattle, WA. My mom and I have been reading A Kids Book About books for a little over a year - they are pretty awesome books for kids to read with their grown-ups! After reading “A Kids Book About Adoption,” I wondered why there wasn’t one about foster care. Foster care is a challenging journey for any child, and having experienced it myself, I decided to pitch this book idea. Over the last few months, I have been working hard in collaboration with A Kids Co. to put my ideas to paper. And the community around me has offered incredible support on this journey. Opening the first published copy was such a cool moment. A huge thanks to A Kids Co for working with me to turn this idea into a real book!” Seth would like to share his message with as many young people and grown-ups as he can - particularly those who are in foster care or work with youth in foster care. He has some readings planned around the Seattle area - and would love to add more to the list! What an unbelievable experience is in store for our Seattle Celtic B12 Green team who’ve been drawn in Group A with the mighty @atleticodemadrid @burnleyofficial and hosts @crumlinunitedfc in the @robbiekeane Academy Cup in Dublin, Ireland this May. If we top our group we’ll play the winners of Group B in the final - @everton @avfcofficial @shamrockroversofficial or @sunderlandafcofficial . An incredible opportunity for the lads and we’re already counting down the days!
